Tsetsee Gun represents the apex of Bogd Khan Mountain, which assumed the status of a National Park in the 1700s, earning the distinction as the inaugural national park globally. Presently, it is acknowledged as the rigorously safeguarded zone of Bogd Khaan Mountain. The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) has recommended that an expanse of 65,000 hectares be conserved as a wildlife sanctuary. The mountainous region is ideal for hiking and is abundant in wildlife and plant species.
