A Must Do Experience in Tuscany - What a fantastic experience! From the moment we arrived, we were treated like family. We waited a short while for our tour to begin, but that was a wonderful wait as we sampled the various wines produced at Tenuta Torciano. The cooking class (by Chef Simone) was just the four of us, and we were thrilled to partake of our own homemade pasta at lunch. Michela and Letitia met our every need during lunch and the explanation of the subtle tasting notes of the wine selection was spot on and helpful. We purchased several bottles which shipped to us from their warehouse in the States. We will be back for sure!

Don’t miss this family owned and operated winery! - Fantastic place to visit! Greeted like a VIP from the moment we stepped foot on the grounds! Started with Pietro Paglioli for welcome glasses of wine. He was superb! Early wine tasting before our pasta making class to relax and savor some amazing wines. Then off to meet Dontae for pasta making class. A perfect balance of instruction and humor to make our time in the fields a perfect afternoon. Being able to taste the fruits of our labor after the class with another round of wine tasting rounded out the afternoon. If Torciano Winery isn’t on your must visit list, you’re missing out!

Pasta cooking class and wine tasting - We had a great time! We loved learning to cook with Antonio. Then we sat and ate the huge meal that we had prepared ourselves. Chiara sat with us on and off while we ate and taught us about their wine. We tasted 8 of their wines. The food and the wine were both delicious. We did buy some bottles but didn’t get the sense that there would have been a lot of pressure if we hadn’t.

Honeymoon Trip - My husband and I found Tenuta Torciano Vineyards based on a recommendation from the front staff of the villa we were staying in. I love to cook and wanted to take a cooking class while on our Italian honeymoon. We called the morning of and they were able to accommodate us into a cooking class and wine tasting. When we arrived, Ricardo welcomed us with a glass of white wine which was so refreshing in the late June Italian heat. Our cooking class was outdoors and it was intimate - only us and another couple. We were able to make fresh pasta, bruschetta, pork medallions, tiramisu and bolognese with Valentina our chef. As our food continued to cook, we were taken into the wine tasting room (kind of like a little basement but charming nonetheless). We were able to try almost all the wines available which was incredible - so many to choose from. It was a bit "sales pitchy" as when you sat down there was an order form already but Leticia did a spectacular job of explaining all the wines to us in a non-sales "pitchy" way. We went in already knowing we were going to purchase wine and olive oil so for us it did not diminish the experience at all. We were able to eat our wonderful food that we had cooked earlier in the day. My husband and I ended up ordering wine bottles for ourselves, our parents, and joining their VIP membership which has been exquisite! We have loved having shipments of wine and oil arrive at our home - a wonderful reminder of the lovely time we had in Italy during our honeymoon. The location itself does have vineyards with grapes on it, but if you're looking for "Napa Valley" vineyards on hills you might not find it here. It is a very intimate location and relaxing. We cannot wait to return within 5 years to renew our VIP membership!

Wonderful experience! - We had a very enjoyable experience with chef Tina (Valentina). She was fun and very easy to work with. My husband, who’s not one to cook, rolled up his sleeves and really got into it. Our dinner and wine tasting after was very enjoyable. Left we wine and olive oil for home!!!

Amazing Experience! - We took a cooking class here which was super fun and very well organized! The winery had about 400 people through that day but we felt so special and very, very welcomed!! After the cooking class, we did the wine starting with Valentina which was also really fun and an overall great experience (for not big wine drinkers - although we did end up buying a few bottles it was so good). Will definitely be back someday and will be ordering their wine from the US... No sugar hangovers!

What is advertised is not what you get! - The advertisement from Viator reads "Step into the kitchen ... during this 3-hour hands-on cooking class. Learn to make a 4-course seasonal Tuscan meal with your chef from start to finish such as homemade pasta, truffle lasagna, crostinis, steak, and tiramisu." In fact, when we got there the on-site chef, the sweet and talented Monica, told us right off the bat that it was the big chef's day off wo we would have to settle for her. Then, our "three hour" cooking course lasted one hour and did not include making a desert. We ate the food we prepared alone in the restaurant - I guess that counts for the remaining two hours of the cooking course. We were never served a desert even though we had not made one. A day before our event, Tenuto called us to tell us that they had a problem at the winery so the course would take place at the restaurant. We were not invited to "Take a brief walking tour of the historic property with your group" as advertised. Not worth the 150$.
