The hike to Trolltunga is long, 20 km return from Mågelitopp (P3), where we most of the time start our hike. Therefore this hike requires good physical condition and the ability to hike for many hours. Our guides will do their very best to take care of you but it is also important that you have the equipment (clothes) and physical strength necessary.

At 07.30 we will meet you at our meeting point in Skjeggedal Here our guide will welcome you and tell you some information about the hike before we start our adventure.

On our way to Trolltunga your guide will tell you interesting facts and stories from the area as well as stop for some breaks. You will visit some of our hidden gems along the trek and stop at the very best photo spots.

At Trolltunga we will make a longer stop and enjoy the beautiful scenery and have some well deserved lunch before we head back towards civilization. We will have time to enjoy the breathtaking views on our way back as well.

Anker, our Trolltunga Adventures Guide, made our trip even more incredible! - Anker, our Trolltunga Adventures Guide - carries a hot chocolate factory in his backpack (amongst all the other supplies). Getting hot chocolate with whipped cream and sprinkled cinnamon on top after a tough and cold trek to Trolltunga, is a magically experience! Having an amazing guide can make your Trolltunga experience even more unforgettable! Ask for Anker when booking!

Trolltunga day hike experience - What an experience I would say we all had with Trolltunga Adventures is unforgettable and for sure life time experience. Every picture will tell a story. Our guide Viktor was super friendly and an awesome person, was making sure we all had the best time from the start to the finish. I would definitely recommend Trolltunga Adventures.

Amazing guides! - We did the spent the night at the top. I don’t know what I expected, but the amount friendliness and service which Viktor, Albert and Synne provided was unbelievable. They were always encouraging us and handing out chocolate and other yummy treats along the route. They haul all the food up, cook and then serve it to you. The food was delicious and they come to your tent in the morning and serve you coffee and breakfast while you look out on a turquoise lake from a viewpoint that is hard to describe. It’s was magical really. One of the best things we have ever done.

A Dream came True!! - Amazing experience! The hike was quite tough for me, but our guide, Kamilla, was absolutely amazing! She did the best she could do to support me and keep up the good spirit of the whole group! Not only that! She gave us a lot of snacks and a really good homemade sandwich for each one of us to be taken at lunch! Also, luckily the weather was just perfect and made much more enjoyable the whole hike I have no complaint at all, everything was just perfect!

An awesome experience! - My day hike in Trolltunga is unforgettable! Our tour guide Viktor is super friendly, knowledgeable and patient! He has provided such a great service by helping us especially me, a very slow hiker to conquer this mountain in the winter season. We were able to see all the breathing taking view along the road, which we may not be able to find or see if we hike by ourselves. He introduced us to a lot of local geography along the way such as the water energy system in Norway, and the local cider drink! The winter hike is tough, however, the view with the snow is unbeatable. You definitely need a guide if you want to hike during the slow season, for your safety, also for the other good benefits. Thank you Viktor!
