It’s advisable to hire a guide outside the summer season, which runs from June 15th to September 15th, due to unpredictable weather, snow, river conditions, and reduced daylight, all of which have necessitated numerous rescue operations over the years. Spring at Trolltunga offers a unique experience with few or no tourists, clear air, and several meters of snow. We provide snowshoes and poles if needed.
The meeting point is at Skjeggedal (P2) at 8:00 AM, where you will meet our guide. If conditions permit, we can drive up to Mågelitoppen (P3), saving us 4 km and 400 vertical meters.
We will serve a delicious lunch, hot drinks, and local snacks. There will be breaks along the way, and our guides will show you some spectacular hidden gems.
The hike lasts approximately 10-12 hours.
