Once night falls and you have seen the colors of the sunset, experience one of the island’s most famous cultural performances at a “kecak” fire dance. Watch the locals act out a scene from the Ramayana with a mesmerizing trance chant, punctuated by exciting fire dances by performers in intricate costumes.

Beautiful evening! - We booked several day trips with Bali Trekking Tour in May 2023 and they were very helpful with arranging everything. They arranged for us to have one driver guide for most of our trips - Yande, which was very helpful so we got to know him well over the next few days. He communicated with us through WhatsApp and was always on time, waiting for us at our hotel. We had a nice time at Padang Padang Beach- remember to bring your swimsuit and towel if you want to go for a dip. It is a busy beach, but we enjoyed the water and watching the surfers. When we arrived at Uluwatu temple, we got our tickets and spent some time checking out the temple, while Yande ran ahead to line up and get our tickets for the Kecak dance, so we could watch the 6pm performance with the sunset. We enjoyed the sunset and the mesmerizing kecak dance. Yande found us after the performance and drove us back to our hotel. It was a lovely afternoon and evening - full of nature and culture. Thank you Bali Trekking Tour and Yande!
