The final stop will be the Japanese Peace Pagoda, a stunning shrine offering breathtaking ocean views. It is visible from Unawatuna beach and Rumassala Hill. This area, known as Jungle Beach, boasts natural beauty with a secluded coastline emerging from the surrounding forest. The Japanese Peace Pagoda, built by the Nipponzan-Myōhōji order, is a monument meant to inspire peace among all races and creeds.
- Koggala - Visit the Mr. Martin Wickramasinghe Ancestral Home and Folk Museum. As one of the most influential authors of his time, his works have been translated and sold worldwide. His literary contributions are considered masterpieces in Sri Lankan literature, and the museum and ancestral home honor his legacy. The temple also has a section called the Tunnel of Hell, with life-sized models of devils, demons, and sinners enduring the torments of hell.
