Highlights
  • Unawatuna - You will be starting the tour in the morning at 9:00 am. You will be provided with all the necessary equipment. If you are a diver certified by PADI (the Professional Association of Diving Instructors), you may dive alone. However if you aren’t you will have to go through the basic training session provided by our instructors and will be accompanied by them on your dive; regardless of experience. This is to give you a safe and memorable holiday experience.
The SS Rangoon is a more scenic sight, although it is much deeper at 32 m. The wreck is that of a century old British steamer and lies in an upright position on a smooth sandy section of the sea floor. The wreck has a lot of colorful sea-life and is a great site to take underwater photos.
Your diving instructor will show and explain the best sights to you while you are underwater. The visibility is usually quite good, but it is to be noted that it is dependent on weather conditions. As such your tours will take place between November to April, when the weather has a higher chance to be clearer.
