This Tour Gives You an Unparalleled understanding of Ireland's Magic ... - There are honestly no words that could adequately encapsulate how incredibly perspective-altering and beautiful this tour was. The guide for this tour, Conor, managed to perfectly transmit his own personal sense of how this place has shaped him as a person, through its folklore, its landscape, and of course, beautifully poetic language of Gaeilge (Irish). His knowledge of folklore transcended merely an academic pursuit but was peppered with personal stories of being told these stories growing up by his grandmother who taught him the Irish origin story of the milky way, his experience with fuchsia flowers, the symbol of West Cork, the stories behind his personal family and neighbors'. Indeed, he equipped us with so much knowledge that when traveling around Cork afterwards, we meet q man with the last name O'Driscoll and could immediately connect the name to the stories we'd learned (incidentally, this man happened to know Conor and immediately lit up upon hearing his name because he knows how great Conor is!!) The biking was of course the icing on the cake, as the bikes are extremely high quality and well designed, and it felt like the best possible way to travel through this beautifully picturesque area of Cork. This is so much more than a job for Conor. It is clearly his purpose, his calling, something he's devoted his life to, and that's what makes all the difference. You will walk away feeling inspired, full of wonder, and absolutely in awe at the magic and windswept mystery of Ireland. Please take this tour, because if you don't you honestly will be missing a key part of what makes Ireland and it's people so special.

Incredible, Unmissable and Unforgetable - An Ebike Excursion to remember - This was an absolutely Magical experience. Connor is so deeply knowledgeble in all realms of this land, from major historical knowledge to the intricacies of clan family inner fightings as well as a majestic medley of folk stories of a place he evidently knows incredibly well. He was superbly kind with his time and answered all of our questions with attentiveness and accuracy and we truly left this tour speechless and deeply grateful for the work that he is performing. Undoubtedly a must do if you really want to grasp at the beauty and history of this little corner of the world.

Amazing fairytale bike tour - Conor did a wonderful job of keeping a moderate pace for a mixed group of participants with differing levels of fitness. Also, we stopped many times along the way to hear tales of local folklore from many hundreds of years ago. It was a charming outing that lasted about three hours, and we got to see some beautiful views that we otherwise would not have seen.

Don't visit West Cork without doing a tour with Gormú. You won't regret it! - What a wonderful day we had out with Conor. We done the Forks, Focail and Folklore tour and loved every second of it. Conor is a true Irish story teller and does a perfect job of integrating the local area and the wonderful places you will visit with beautiful and educational stores of old. Don’t come to West Cork without booking one of the many tours offered by Gormú and Conor. We will be back soon and do one of the hiking or swimming tours on our next visit:)

Don't miss it!! - Fun ride!! Great tales! The bikes took a little getting used to (never having used the assist before), after adapting it certainly makes for a smooth ride (thank you Turbo). Definitely fit this fun activity into your schedule!

We would so recommend this fun tour!! - Had a fabulous evening trip round this beautiful patch of West Cork. We were just two of us, which was great as I needed a fair amount of teaching and encouragement as my cycling skills were decidedly rusty. As others have said, the bikes are easy to ride and take the strain out of any hills. We were lucky to have had a beautiful clear evening & Conor gave fascinating nuggets of local history & colourful legends, some a little gruesome, but others absolutely charming! Would recommend this highly memorable experience, it was so worth it!

Magic bike ride. - This tour is highly recommended. Our Guide, Conor, who also rents out the bikes, is a magical narrator on a trip that takes in beautiful places.
