Additional Information

Allow us to fetch you right from your cruise ship at the Invergordon port of Cromarty.

We would first head to the Clava Cairns, where the standing stones that feature in Diana Gabaldon’s Outlander are located. There’s more to this famous site than meets the eye. Your guide will unravel the stories and puzzles of this location that dates back 4000 years.

Next, we’ll journey to a chilly, wet moor named Culloden, where a significant battle occurred in April 1746. This battle would forever alter the lives of the Highlanders. Here, you’ll get to visit the battleground where the brave Jacobites confronted King George II’s powerful army.

No Highland trip would be complete without visiting Loch Ness, the world’s most renowned Loch. Have your camera ready, just in case the elusive Nessie decides to show up.

Then, it’s time for some refreshments. We’ll sample ‘Nessie Water’ and savour some Gin at the award-winning Great Glen Distillery. You even get a complimentary dram!

Lastly, we’ll visit the picturesque Urquhart Castle, tucked away on the shores of Loch Ness. Explore a thousand years of history at this romantic spot.

  • Visiting the Culloden Battlefield Site is free of charge, however the optional entry to the exhibition cost an estimated 14 Pounds per adult and 30 Pounds for family ticket (consists of 2 adults and 6 kids that are 15 years old and below)

Great Tour! - Richie was a fantastic guide. His tour was much more personalized and comfortable than other big coach excursions that we had done on our cruise. He took us to see some amazing spots for both site-seeing and photos in the highlands. He was very knowledgeable and accommodating. Book this tour when in Inverness, you won’t regret it!

Wonderful trip to Loch Ness - Great trip. We loved every minute of this tour. The guide took excellent care of us. A couple of people on the tour were Outlander fans so the guide took us to see some of the sites. I had never watched the show, but I really enjoyed seeing those sites and how happy it made the rest of the tour group.
