Our tour begins with a picturesque view of the Beauly Firth on our way to the Beauly Priory. Built by French monks from Dijon in the 13th century, a substantial part of its primary infrastructure still stands strong. From there, we move over the hill to visit the iconic Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle. Spend ample time familiarizing yourself with this emblematic landmark whilst indulging in the stunning Loch Ness view. Our journey then continues through Old Inverness, pausing to appreciate the river and more. We later head to Cawdor Castle & Gardens and the Ancient Clava Cairns that date back 4000 years. Our trip culminates at the Culloden Battlefield, the historical site of Britain’s last battle and the tragic finish of the 1745 Jacobite Rebellion.
