Great tour - especially if you want to pick your destinations! - David was fantastic! He was very helpful organizing a full day touring of distilleries, the Cooperage and planning a great place to eat lunch. I gave David a short list of distilleries we were interested in and he sent back a recommended itinerary of times for tasting and tours. Very knowledgeable and pleasant to chat with during the day's drive. All in all a great day!

The ultimate guided tour and whiskey enjoyment - David is definitely one of the best tour guides. He will take you to visit any distillery you want to visit in the Speyside area, and can also help you make an appointment to visit the whiskey production process and craftsmanship. Both the scenery and the whiskey are high-end.

Outstanding Inverness whiskey day tour - Amazing trip and David did an awesome job. He laid out a great itinerary. Things don’t always go as planned, such us Cardhu and Glenfiddich couldn’t offer a tasting for some very odd/rare reasons (race being run at Cardhu), but he had enough experience and knowledge to add other great distillers to fill in and show us some amazing scenery. It was a perfect day! I strongly recommend David!

Great day with a great guide. - This was a wonderful day touring the Speyside distilleries. David, our guide and driver, was very knowledgeable about all the distilleries. He graciously accepted our challenge to visit as many distilleries as possible. We didn't feel the need to tour every one, but wanted to see them. We managed 13 even including time for lunch! We could not have asked for a better experience.

Whisky and More! We had a spectacular day with David! - Our recent September 2024 day with David was like something out of a fantasy world. We saw so many sights and experienced things we would have never expected in our 6.5 hours with him. Our Viking British Isles cruise docked in Invergordon, and thinking there were many options to see in a fairly large area, we decided it was best to go private. David is the utmost consummate professional. He communicated with us regularly in the few days prior to our arrival. He met us at the entrance for meeting private tours dressed traditionally, then led us to his immaculate Mercedes station wagon sedan. Settling in, we discussed where we might start, and from then on, it was one fun day full of adventure. We began with some scenic sightseeing on the Black Isle. When I casually mentioned I was interested whether we might see some famed Highland Cows "Hairy Coos", David took note and made sure we drove to a farm where we would see some. We visited a whisky distillery tucked away in a small village, stopped in to see a well-known Scottish Open golf course for my husband who mentioned he's a 3-4 times per week golfer, and visited Inverness where we stopped to view the town and the River Ness. This was only the morning! From there, we took a requested view of Loch Ness in a less touristy tucked away spot. Next was these Outlander fans interest in famed spots from the book/show. When in casual conversation, I mentioned I found U.K. old churches with ancient cemeteries hauntingly beautiful, we veered off the path to a small Fraser Clan cemetery /mausoleum. Pulling up to an iron gate in what seemed like in the middle of nowhere, David opened the gate, led us to what we thought was a small church, and proceeded to produce a key. Inside was the Wardlaw Mausoleum, complete with a burial crypt down through a wooden trap door, where it was thought to contain the remains of Simon "the Fox" Fraser. If you had asked me if we had ever thought we'd be climbing down into this crypt, we'd have said no, but wow! On to the Clava Cairns, thought to be where Author Diana Gabaldon got her inspiration for the standing stones in Outlander. David was full of historical information all along the way, with our final stop being Culloden Memorial Battlefield, where he gave us time to explore on our own. Ever careful of the time constraints for cruise ship passengers, David had us back in plenty of time ahead of "all aboard" for passengers. This was a spectacular awe-filled day and we have David to thank for it. Absolutely a 5 star day. *****
