Canoeing - Just had the best time on this canoeing trip, loved everything about it . We got picked up and firstly went on a safari through the national park seeing lots of kudo and other animals, we had breakfast which was delicious before taking to the water for a scenic and wonderful paddle seeing crocs and hippos. We finished with a delicious lunch at a beautiful spot further down the river. Dont think twice about this just book ! Our guides were very knowledgeable and the food first class. Thank you Mengezi, Malvin and Lloyd!

African nature immersion - We had a lovely day getting up close and personal with the Zambezi river. The drive in and out of the national park was like a mini game drive and we saw a range of animals.
Our guides were experienced and very concerned with our safety, using their knowledge of the river and animal behaviour to ensure we negotiated our way along the banks past an assortment of animals and the small rapids without incident.
The breakfast and freshly cooked lunch of meats/ eggs , vegetables and drinks and fruits was generous and great quality. We didn’t travel as far down river due to a head wind but we had a great time. Really good value. Recommended to anyone wanting an exciting day, good exercise and experiencing a part of the African wild environment outside a vehicle.

Excellent Paddle on the River - Our three guides were friendly, very knowledgeable & felt safe on the water with them. A nice breakfast and lunch were provided by the river. When We got back to our hotel & recognized I left a windbreaker in their truck, I texted them and they delivered it to the hotel which we greatly appreciated. We would recommend this company.

Sliding on the river - I start from the end... unique and unforgettable experience.
Descent of the upper Zambezi by canoe allows you to see the river from a unique perspective.
The staff was courteous but above all they were efficient on every occasion. We don't have much experience with canoeing, especially at the beginning we weren't exactly champions of coordination in paddling but so we literally enjoyed a 360° view. On the wall the jokes, the river is wide, the current and the wind are important but however manageable even by non-expert people.
Start with shorts and don't forget your hat and sunscreen, preferably with sandals, otherwise do like us, put your shoes in the waterproof bag.
The day took place exactly as described: departure from the lodge with an open pickup (bring a heavy shirt or a light jacket because in the morning the air is crisp), you travel along a paved road for a short stretch then continue on the slopes inside the national park. Already on the way we saw an elephant, mongooses , warthogs, baboons, waterbucks, vultures and a large baobab tree. The guide was kind, he not only pointed out the animals but also gave us a lot of information about the animals and the surrounding environment. Once we arrived at the starting point, we had breakfast (bread, eggs, vegetables, ham, biscuits, coffee and tea) while the staff prepared the inflatable canoes. They gave us life jackets and waterproof bags to take to the canoe and off we went. We saw some crocodiles, many birds, a sausage tree, an elephant and... hippos.
I don't deny that this experience is not without risks, but there are not many things that can guarantee absolute safety. In our case we met an unfriendly hippopotamus who gave us a priceless show showing us his 4 big teeth and his diving skills, for safety we went ashore and the songs were carried further downstream by the staff while we went for a while feet and then resume the descent to the river.
Once we arrived at our destination we drank a drink and then had lunch (chicken, vegetables, rice, bread and vegetables). We then returned happy and satisfied to the lodge.
In conclusion, from the stop at Victoria Falls I will not forget its waterfalls and I will certainly think about this day often.
Thanks to all the staff.

Victoria Falls Canoeing - We were picked up from our hotel at 7:30 promptly. A 4 wheel drive with bench seats across the back tray and two inflatable canoes strapped across the roof. There is 1hr 15min'ish drive to get to the launch point well into the Zambezi National Park. Mike and Melvyn were great at finding animals along the way and explaining a bit about the park. Also good for a chuckle. At the launch point we stopped to get all the gear set up and have breakfast. Prince and his team were very organised. Safety briefing completed we were on our way. Four canoes with two people in each and a guide in the front and rear canoes. Within minutes we had seen our first crocodile, minutes later a bigger one sunning itself on a grass islet. The paddling was fairly straight forward, with the current toward the falls. Fortunately we would get out well before we got anywhere near them. And then the wild life began. Another large Croc scooting down the sandbank into the water. A couple of herds (some use the collective noun 'bloat' ) of hippopotamus in the water and then a larger bloat sunning themselves on a sand bank. Elephants, Giraffe, Warthogs, Impala, Vultures, A Stork standing on one leg at the top of a tree, fishermen on the water and in the reeds. It was a spectacular day finished by a great bush lunch and then back to Town. Well Done Prince Team for looking after us. Spectacular.

Day trip canoe Zambezi - From start to finish this tour was amazing. We were picked up promptly and driven approx. 1hr through the National Park seeing elephants, giraffes, impala etc. before stopping for the most delicious breakfast of eggs etc. Then a quick safety talk and into the inflatable canoes. We paddled/drifted for a couple of hours before we had a drink break passing hippos and crocodiles on the way. Then another 45mins paddle before we stopped for lunch. Again the food was amazing, eating only metres from elephants. Could not fault this tour or Victoria Falls Canoeing Company.

On the Zambezi itself!!! - So enjoyed this trip. Very Much.
The opportunity to be on the Zambezi to experience it in its full dimension was/is a wonderful experience.
The tour itself was safe, comfortable and interesting. The guides were funny, intelligent and liked us! I could participate in the paddling as much as I wanted ( but really I was probably more of a hindrance than a help). while it was a very dry wet season, the river was flowing quite strongly, my guide was adept and strong negotiating the flow. Delightful.
Wildlife included hippos (we kept at a safe distance), many birds and then Sable (!) giraffes, antelopes++ and others.
The food- breakfast and lunch - were fresh and delicious. I was surprised by the quality of it. Water and other drinks were offered frequently etc.
the only downside- it hade to finish. I am looking forward to doing this trip again. And again.

2 day canoe and camp - We had the most amazing time with Prince and his team on the upper Zambezi. From the onset communication was really good and Prince quickly replied to any questions I had.
The canoeing was great and very different on both days. The guides were very knowledgeable and took excellent care of us.
We chose to have an overnight camp, which ended up far exceeding our expectations.
If you get the chance, do it! It is a wonderful way to experience the Zambezi.
