Highlights
  • Katherine Outback Experience - The team provides an introduction about our story, history and show.
A young horse is brought into the arena and the team get to work training the horse live in front of the audience, demonstrating the art of horse-starting. We explain the psychology between man and horse, showing how we build trust. If the horse is ready to progress, we will saddle and attempt to ride it, often for the first time. No horse is used more than three times in the show. We then move to our more advanced horses, demonstrating what can be achieved with ongoing training and patience.
Guests are then directed to our large arena where we bring out our team of amazing working dogs. We introduce each dog before showing how we train them to work as a team. The show is never complete without some of Tom’s original songs, performed from the saddle, with guitar in hand.

Absolutely Gorgeous. - Absolutely a fantastic afternoon/evening the views were incredible. The food at dinner time was the best we have had for a long time on any cruise. We highly recommend this tour to anyone who is in the NT. The boat operator had a wealth of knowledge and made the trip fun with his light hearted jokes. ❤️

Great show, an experience not to be missed. - Fantastic show, highly recommend it, especially if you like animals. It covered quiet a variety of training methods with horses and dogs, and included goats and cattle in the process. Very friendly and knowledgeable team that included the spectators in the show as it evolved. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

Fun, informative Experience - Great show and very informative seeing the training and patience required. Booking was easy. We received a cushion on arrival and a cold washer during the show and then a cool ice block later in the show. Photo opportunities. Loved the commentary and Tom's singing. My husband loved it. Well worth a visit!

Outback experience 😟 - We where all disappointed in the show , as we have heard how great it was .It looked like a training show as repeatedly told horses first go in doing act .First hour a lot of cantering of horses and viewing of animals .One act where horse eventually layed down no showing of horse standing up or retrieving hat like in pics .Second hour constant mustering of 3 goats by numerous dogs , getting them to go back to the stations (which was interesting ) but became a bit overdone . I realise it shows how things are done in the outback and how there training the animals but thought it could have had a bit more of a wow factor, something a little spectacular .Not a fan sorry
