Listen to an expert’s commentary as you head out to sea and scan the water for whales. See whales in their natural environment from a choice of two vantage points. Watch from inside the boat through the underwater viewing windows, or head to the boat’s unique outdoor platform for unforgettable views.

Your air-conditioned catamaran is equipped with hydrophones so you can hear the whales sing, and the multilingual staff can provide whale information in six languages.

Smaller kids keep busy with toys and activities provided on board, and you can take home a free whale-watching DVD.

Enjoy tea and coffee with biscuits and cake on the trip out, and an antipasto platter to share on the return trip home. You can also buy drinks from the licensed bar (own expense).

Whale sightings are guaranteed, so if you don’t spot any whales you can enjoy a return Hervery Bay whale-watching cruise on a different day for free!

Travel in a catamaran purpose-built for whale observation, with excellent viewing opportunities from both the observation deck and submerged windows. Enhance your wildlife experience with the help of knowledgeable staff, and listen to an informative narrative about the whales and their oceanic habitat.

You will be asked to use our hand sanitizer station when boarding the vessel. Additionally, other hand sanitizer stations will be set up at key entry and exit points of the vessel and you will be encouraged to use these throughout the tour.

Great Tasman joy for this Tasmanian - I took a half day whale watching tour on this vessel yesterday, at the recommendation of a local friend. To say that my expectations were surpassed is an understatement. It was a privilege to sail the length of K'gari and view the beautiful sandy beaches, only to then be thoroughly entertained by numerous pods of active, healthy whales. The joy of hearing these majestic creatures trumpeting, along with their other sounds, was thrilling. The live commentary, by a knowledgeable & clearly passionate, crew member was outstanding and taught me a lot. The entire crew were equally personable and good humoured in ensuring us safe passage. Morning tea/snacks provided were fairly basic, if I had to fault anything, but the stars of the day were definitely the whales, and the team in facilitating such an experience. One of the finest days of my 60 year life.

Great Day Out - Great crew, nice small vessel which got us up close to the whales and SO many whales. Small engine issue on the way home which the crew dealt with professionally and kept us posted on a late arrival, didn't dampen our plan to go again with these guys.

Loads of Whales - We saw a number of different pods of whales. Sadly none of them breached, but it was a very good trip. It lasted about 4 hours and the crew were very informative.

Magical- hearing the whales was the best - An excellent cruise with great staff who seemed as excited as we were to be seeing so many whales up close. Hearing the whales on a still overvast day had everyone spell bound.

OMG- incredible is all... - OMG- incredible is all you can say. whales were beautiful!. You will see them playing, trumpeting and breaching. Have batteries charged for your camera as it will go dead! Tea and cookies were great in morning. Tour guides know where to take you so you wont be disappointed. Be sure to bring a sweatshirt or jacket for this time of year as on boat it can get cool.

Great Whale Experience - Far exceeded our expectations. Fantastic friendly and knowledgeable crew who provided a tour that we will remember for a very long time. The Crew located several pods of about 5 whales in each which came alongside the boat and stayed for quite some time. This boat is the perfect size and does not become overcrowded like some large vessels allowing every participant a clear view and interaction with the whales particularly at water level with the rear viewing platform.

INCREDIBLE - What an amazing day!! All I have ever wanted was to see humpback whales up close and today it happened!!! They were next to the boat and absolutely everywhere you looked they were there. I will be back next year to do it all again. My husband, sister and my 89yo mum had the best day. Beautiful memories made ❤️🐋🐬

Not what I was expecting - Staff were friendly and commentary good. The food offered was disappointing. I opted for GF when booking and when I went to get morning tea I was offered some home brand ginger nut biscuits and a couple of Smoosh balls...the only other food offered later was cubes of cheese, cut up salami and some olives on a plate. I kind of expected more, and thought there would also be drinks offered. The cruise advertises underwater viewing and hydrophone, but I did not see the underwater view and when I asked was told the boat has to be swamped with whales to see anything, so feel a bit misled. The hydrophone was played for around a minute. Of course the whales were enjoyable, but some passengers found it too difficult to move around the boat or even stand up...I would not take children or elderly/mobility impaired persons on this cruise...the boat rocked quite a bit and was very fast...it was my first whale cruise and overall I was not disappointed, but it was the whales that make the experience.
