Explore the Wonders of the West Coast of K’gari

Wathumba Creek - We’ll make our way north along the west coast of K’gari towards one of the whales’ favourite playgrounds, Platypus Bay. We’ll pass well-known landmarks such as Big Woody Island, Pelican Banks and Moon Point keeping an eye out for any breaching, lobtailing or tail slapping whales on our way, before anchoring just in front of the beautiful Arch Cliffs for the afternoon. These grand coloured sand dunes make for the perfect picturesque backdrop to enjoy a sundowner (or two). Make sure you have your camera handy to capture the changing colour hues as the sun sets over the water.

Wake Up With The Whales

K’gari (Fraser Island) - After a well-rested sleep, you’ll be treated to a yummy breakfast the next morning as we start cruising for the day in search of some playful humpback whales and some incredible up-close encounters.
After spending a few hours with these majestic mammals, we’ll make our way south along the island and (time permitting), stop at Pelican Banks for Afternoon Tea before returning back to the Urangan Marina.
