- Great Sandy Strait - After leaving the marina, you’ll journey through the Great Sandy Strait Marine Park, home to resident dolphins, dugongs, fringing reefs, and turtle habitats. The park stretches to Rooneys Point at the northern tip of Fraser Island (K’gari).
- K’gari (Fraser Island) - Cruise along the western beaches of K’gari (Fraser Island) from Moon Point to Platypus Bay. Our Skipper will share fascinating historical and interesting facts about the island and waterways. We’ll be on the lookout for dolphins, humpback whales, turtles, and dugongs. Morning tea is served as we pass Moon Point. You might even spot dingoes along the beaches searching for food.
The high arch cliffs along the western beaches provide excellent photographic opportunities.
- Platypus Bay - This is a spot where whales often come to rest and play. Lunch is typically served while cruising the expansive bay at the northern end of K’gari. Local fishers know this area for baby blue marlin, trevally, mackerel, and various reef fish species. It’s a pristine environment rarely visited by vehicles and campers.
