- WA and Japan at Home - Guests will receive a warm welcome from their host, Noriko, at Shin-Urayasu Station JE08 (just 20 minutes from Tokyo Station). Together, they will enjoy a brief 3-minute walk to her charming Japanese home.
The experience begins with a serene tea ceremony. Noriko will share its history before preparing the first bowl of matcha. Guests will then have the opportunity to make their own for the second bowl, with Noriko providing step-by-step guidance. Alongside the tea, guests will savor two small sweets and one seasonal sweet.
Following this, guests will explore the traditional Japanese instrument, the koto. Noriko will perform two pieces, and then guests will have the chance to play a melody themselves, often finding it surprisingly easy.
To enhance the day, guests can opt for the additional cotton kimono and photos experience for 3,500 yen on site (cash, credit card, or PayPal). They will be dressed in traditional attire (10 minutes per man, 20–30 minutes per woman, including selection). Please note that choosing the kimono option will extend the experience time, and it should be requested when booking. Noriko will assist in capturing memorable photos.
