One of the Best! - This was one of my favorite experiences over my two-week trip in Peru. Marco and Paola were amazing and patient teachers. The views were unbelievable. I got to feed the alpacas and llamas, play with a puppy, clean wool, dye wool, learn about dyeing fabrics with plants, and wove my own bracelet. I cannot recommend this enough!

We had the best time at... - We had the best time at Andean Colors, Marco and Paola were so sweet and helpful. We had to reschedule our activity (altitude sickness) and they were very understanding an accommodating. We scheduled transportation through Marco which I highly recommend, it cost us $80US round trip from our Cusco Hotel. We learned so much, had a lot of fun, the food was delicious, and we got to see a baby alpaca being born! We would absolutely recommend this activity to anyone visiting the Sacred Valley.

A full cultural experience—absolutely the best! - Our visit to Andean Colors was the absolute highlight of our time in Peru. The people there were kind and welcoming, and they treat you like family. One of the best things is that we got to experience so much of the local culture in just a few hours. We walked with alpacas and llamas, had a delicious lunch, learned about Peruvian history, participated in the textile process (which was fascinating!!), and shopped in their amazing store. We saw a lot of textiles during our week in Peru, and none of them were as nice as what we saw at Andean Colors. My daughter purchased one of the baby alpaca blankets, and it is the softest thing ever! I purchased a beautiful scarf, and I brought some of the gloves back for my mother. She loves them! The quality is really exceptional. Plus, it felt good to know that our purchases were helping to support single mothers in the area, which is their mission. Highly recommend! And we can't wait to go back.

Just what I wanted! - I went with my children and we enjoyed the whole experience of working with the wool and the beautiful views of the place. Too bad it finally got to me about height and I felt bad. I recommend not to do it on the first day and get acclimatised in Ollantaytambo or Aguas Calientes. Thank you so much for making this work beautiful!

Alpaca Lovers Dream - Wow! This was an amazing experience! We received far more than we were expecting! We began the experience by feeding and walking the alpacas. Even my husband could not resist falling in love with these little cuties. Next we did hands on demonstrations on how to clean, spin, dye and weave. It was so fun that the time flew by quickly. Next we ate the best lunch we had on our entire trip! Our hosts shared so much about their culture and their program. If that was not enough, we ended out day with a little private shopping experience:). This is a program you should not miss:)

Don’t pass this by. It’s a better experience than I can describe. - We almost didn’t make the time for this experience, but our whole family is so glad we did. We had a lunch that rivaled any restaurant meal we’ve eaten on this trip and the view from their new space is absolutely unparalleled. Marco and company were superb hosts and made us feel like we were family in town for a visit. The textiles presentation was fantastic and I’m already kicking myself for not spending the money on one of their superb reversible jackets while we were there. You will love their products so make certain you save a bit of luggage space. My daughters - 15 and 10 years old - told us repeatedly that this experience was their favorite of the whole trip and they can be very tough to please. Don’t pass this by.

Fantastic, authentic experience - This experience is fantastic and authentic. Set among the incredible mountains and countryside, Marco and Paula showed us everything from walking the alpacas and llamas, washing and spinning the wool, to the various dying techniques using plants, minerals and insects. We learnt about the social cause behind the project, and the staff were really friendly, patient and knowledgable. By the end, we had learn a simple weaving technique and made something to take away with us. Ponchos and hats provided, along with a delicious lunch. Really special memories.

Don't Miss This! - Really enjoyed learning about dyeing and weaving. Our hosts were amazing along with the whole experience and the lunch! I mainly signed up for this because I knew my girlfriend would enjoy it and to my surprise, I think I enjoyed it as much as she did. Highly recommend this experience.

Perfect family activity - We came with the family with four young children from the ages of 3 to 13. We had a great time, the team really made us feel at home, we got to walk with the llamas and alpacas, And go through the whole process of making wool colouring it and even taking it back home with us. Everything was calm and there was a great ambience. The view is fantastic and the food they made was delicious. Highly recommended for families travel in this area.
