You have to see this ….. - What a great experience with Gio our guide. We were collected from
our hotel and travelled first to Chinchero to see how alpaca wool is died naturally and how rugs etc are made. We then went on to Ollantaytambo where Gio showed us around some of the oldest stones in the town dating back to Inca times. We then caught the Vistadome train to Aguas Calientes. The following morning saw a very early start for our bus ride up to Machu Picchu which is quite hairy in itself. We eventually arrived and the whole vista opened up in front of us. A complete wonder of the ancient world. The benefit of being first up ie 6am meant the crowds weren’t yet there and the weather was not too hot. Gio was great and shared so much knowledge with us. We’d definitely recommend this tour.

Exceeded high expectations! - I would highly recommend. We booked two tours with AB Expeditions.
*Sacred Valley – Jaime*
5 stars. Great driver and guide, punctual, positive demeanor, answered all my questions. Very knowledgeable. He went above and beyond when we showed interest in the farmers market and picked out unique fruits for us to try. Offered to take many pictures and didn't rush us as we took in the sights! I would recommend!
*Inca Trail – Amilcar*
5 stars, very knowledgeable and a great guide. He managed our expectations and told us how the day would unfold. He was very patient if we needed breaks on the hike. His professionalism and experience was evident in slowing my pace down as I tried to be youthful and competitive, hiking faster than I should. Great English. Great photographer. Positive demeanor throughout the two days.
I would only book AB tours again after witnessing the pace and style of the other tours at Machu Picchu / Sacred Valley. The others were likely satisfactory, I just liked AB, Jamie, and Amilcar's styles.

Amazing and rewarding experience - The journey with Yeicob was amazing! The hike experience was really rewarding. So many amazing sites and beautiful photo spot. Getting to the top and seeing Machu Picchu from the peak was completely worth hiking.

Beautiful experience - The Inca Trail was an incredible experience. The landscape is amazing, full of history, nature and moments that leave you breathless (literally and figuratively!).
I want to highlight especially the guide, Rosbel, who was excellent. Always with good vibes, patience and a lot of knowledge about Inca history and culture. He helped us at all times, made us feel comfortable, and also took spectacular photos.
The AB service was very good, transfers, accommodation, meals included (spectacular picnic with which they waited for us when climbing the most complex section of the road)
I recommend this excursion 100%! It's challenging, but worth every step

Incredible Two-Day Inca Trail Experience with AB Expeditions and Rosel! - We just returned from an unforgettable two-day Inca Trail hike with AB Expeditions, and we can’t say enough great things about the experience—especially our amazing guide, Rosl). We are a family of five with boys ranging in age from 10 to 15, and Rosel did an outstanding job keeping everyone motivated and engaged throughout the hike. An added bonus in going with AB Expeditions is that they only do small groups, so our family ended up getting a private tour.
Rosel is incredibly knowledgeable about Inca history and culture. He shared fascinating stories and insights along the trail and during our tours in Machu Picchu, which really enriched the entire experience for both the kids and adults. He also has a great eye for photography and helped us find the perfect spots for unforgettable photos!
One of the highlights of the hike was the picnic lunch—absolutely delicious and thoughtfully prepared, with plenty of vegetarian options to accommodate everyone in our group.
The hotel stay included in the package was comfortable and well-organized, adding a nice touch of relaxation to balance out the adventure.
We highly recommend AB Expeditions for anyone looking for a memorable and well-run Inca Trail experience. And if you can, request Rosel—his passion, professionalism, and friendly nature truly made our trip special.

Machupicchu and Rainbow Mountain, AB special - The hike was fun and the views were one of a kind. Jacob, our tour guide was a cool guy and knowledgeable on Incan history and culture. AB provided reliable service and good food (can’t beat a picnic on the side of a mountain on the way to see a World Wonder). Would book again 10/10

Best tour Guide - I booked the 2 day tour for myself and 2 teen kids (from Australia). Ricardo was our tour guide, he was well spoken in English explaining the history and answered all our questions. Ricardo was informative, patient and fun, he went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. I will definitely recommend this tour company and guide to family and friends. We did another tour in Cusco with another company but it did not compare to our tour experience with Ricardo.

Best 2-day Inka-Trail - We had an amazing two-day tour with Robinzon. He showed us an alterative way tonthe Inka trail (as the original one was gone because of a recent earth slide) and on the way he shared his huge knowlege about plants and animals of the cloud forest with us. During Lunch, he even organised a cup of coffee for us.
He's a great storyteller and knows everything about Inkaruins and history.
We had a lot of fun and would definitively recommend to have a tour with him!

Great Machu Picchu visit with hike. The best thing was that you can visit machu picchu twice with the 2 day tour - We had two great days with Robinzon! On the hike he showed us many plants and animals, he knew everything about nature and also about the history of peru and especially the incas of course. Luckily for us it we were the only two guests on the tour so we had actually a private tour.
P.s. the Hotel provided was the best we had during our 3 weeks in peru!
