During our journey, we get the chance to admire snow-capped peaks such as the Veronica volcano and Salkantay glacier, while also encountering charming towns like Pachar, Ollantaytambo, and Pampacahua. Subsequently, we board a minibus, ascending a winding route to Machu Picchu city in a 20-minute ride. With a guided tour, we’ll explore the Plaza, Intihuatana, Royal Quarters, the Temple of the Three Windows, and cemeteries, as well as the impressive terrace sequence that outlines the fortress. Afterwards, we head back to Aguas Calientes for a scrumptious buffet lunch (courtesy of the passengers), followed by a train ride to Ollantaytambo, and finally, a minibus trip to Cusco.
