  • The Ulu Factory - Historic Downtown is a must see followed by a short drive to the Alaska Railroad station Anchorage Depot where we will stop at the Ulu Factory and Ship Creek salmon stream.
  • Beluga Point - Beluga point is just south of Anchorage on the Turnagain Arm. This destination features incredible Alaskan vistas and wildlife viewing. Dahl Sheep are often visible on the rocky crags of the Chugach mountains and when migrating, Beluga Whales can be seen plying through the fjord.
  • Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center - After Beluga Point, we stop at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center. This is your guaranteed opportunity to see bears, elk, moose and many other Alaskan animals. Your guide will share information on all the amazing animals at the Center. We have a few favorites to share!

Parker was an excellent... - Parker was an excellent tour guide and we truly enjoyed our time with him. The best part was getting to see a black bear in the wild as we were stopped and taking pictures! The Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center was amazing as well. When you stop for lunch in Girdwood, the Seafood Chowder is a must! We will definitely recommend this tour to our friends & colleagues. Thank you!

Great Rainy Day Excursion - Rain, rain and more rain but the clouds receded enough for us to see the middle glacier. High above us was the beautiful blue site we hoped to see. Next to as a waterfall in the rain forest, outstanding! Don, our guide was the best…a wealth of knowledge about all things Alaska and more. He worked tirelessly to find a glacier view. Well done.

A lot packed into on trip! - I joined the Glacier View and Wildlife Anchorage Adventure Tour as a solo traveller and had a great experience. They picked me up from my hotel and we did a stop at the Ulu factory where we were able to watch Ulu knives being made. We could also shop in in the shop. We then had a quick look at the river behind the shop to see if we could see any Salmon running. We then took the scenice drive down the Turnagain Arm to the Wildlife Conservation Park. We saw a number of different animals was great. From there we took a drive slighty inland to the base of a glacier were we took a 15 minute walk from the vehicle to the glacier area. The views were amazing. Overall I definaltey reccomend this tour. The bus was very comfortable and as the group was only around 10 or so, it felt very personal. The guide was very knowledgeable and expierenced and was able to tell us a lot of stories about the area.

More than expected - Don, was very informative and the tour was amazing. We were surprised with the quality of service. Enjoy the 2 mile total hike back to see the glaciers. Easy walk but worth it! We stopped at base camp for a late lunch and the food was amazing.
