Celebrity Guide - Imagine my surprise when I discovered Leo Quinones, The Film Freak was the host of our guided tour of Hollywood. I listened to his radio show for years and here he was, great surprise. The tour was a treat for all members of the family. I highly recommend it.

Great tour, favorite tour! - I did the Movie Locations tour on March 24th,2018. The driver was Craig with tour guide Mike. I loved it because I felt like Craig did a great job driving carefully in traffic and bumpy roads through Hollywood and Downtown LA. Mike was super funny and entertaining trying to get to know everyone (although we were a large group) and pointing things out to us. My favorite part of the tour was passing through Echo Park and seeing Bob's Market which is the little shop that comes out in the Fast and the Furious movies. The tour was very informative of classic as well as current movies. I will definitely be recommending that tour. Also I love that the tour is done on a custom bus that is tall and comfortable. My favorite tour!

Entertaining - We booked this tour so that we could get an insight into the world of movies and we weren't disappointed. The tour bus was relatively empty and we found the guide very entertaining and there was plenty of banter. The guide was very knowledgeable. We saw plenty of sights and went inside the Bradbury Building. The tour lasted about two and a half hours roughly.

If your not a TCM fan, you May miss this great tour! - I wish that this tour was longer, although longer might give tour goers information overload. Leo is the tour guide, who knows his stuff. His knowledge of the city really enhances the tour. I was disappointed that there was only three of us on the tour, only in the fact that with a lack of participation may eventually discontinue this fantastic tour. TCM really does a terrible job of advertising for this tour. So hop on board and see places your not going to see on other tours!

Overall a fun and different way to view the city. - Hotel uplift and drop off was efficient and worthwhile. Mark, our guide was a good provider of information as we made our way firstly through Hollywood and then downtown LA. The stop at Union Station was a highlight seeing the setting of the bank in Catch Me If You Can. I much prefer a real live guide as you have on this tour compared to others with only a recording where the timings are often wrong and you have to guess which direction the building which it is describing is in. Enjoyable experience.

Fun on the TCM Movie Locations Tour - My husband and I really enjoyed this tour. It was fast-paced but there was enough time to get a good look at the locations. The bus has huge windows and a big plasma screen. You see a clip from the film and then you're looking right at it! Our tour guide Mike was knowledgeable and fun. Although it's called the TCM tour, you'll see more than just classic movie locations - no problem for me as I like films from all eras. (Besides, classic films were mostly shot on studio backlots and with rear projection.)

Just alright - For starters, the bus was not air conditioned and two of the massive windows wouldn't open. This would have been nice to know, seeing as it was extremely hot out and I dressed for an air conditioned vehicle. Secondly, the plasma tv was flashing in and out the entire trip. It looked like it obviously needed to be replaced. Seeing different movie sites was cool, and we stopped at Union station, thankfully, so I was able to get a drink. We saw a lot of outsides of movie studios, which was pretty boring. If you like older movies, you'll get more out of the tour- just make sure you bring cold drinks if it's hot out! Also, a decent tip is expected, so bring cash. I wouldn't recommend this tour, honestly.

Miserable 3 hours - We booked this tour as classic hollywood fans and were miserable. It was 70 degrees and sunny outside, inside the bus it felt like 110 degrees. We were SWEATING. It was like a sauna. Completely uncomfortable. The bus was only half full, so luckily we could spread out and weren't right up on each other. The tour driver was nice, and very informed, but so many of the things we could barely see. The tour is advertised as having two stops- one at union station and one at the bradbury building. We only stopped at union station. there was no second stop, super disappointing.

Starlines movie location tours - We had previously done a celebrity home tour with a different company and thought that it was amazing so we asked for a recommendation and they suggested the movie locations tour with Starline. We read the information on the Starline website and it sounded fun and interesting for a group of 23 year old girls. However as soon as we got on the bus he asked if anyone liked old classical movies, we weren’t around in this era so haven’t watched any of these movies. We immediately said that we hadn’t seen any but yet he continued the tour pointing old locations for old movies. If this is a TCM classical movie tour it needs to be said on their website. It had also said that there were over 50 location stops, however we did not see 50, and the drives had driven away before we were able to understand what movie the tour was from and then take a picture if we were interested. It was a very long tour and included going on the highway. It also included a lot of information about the History of Los Angeles, which was interesting but not what we were dxpectating and definitely not what we paid $50 for. Overall this tour would have been good if you liked classical movies, however the website had not said that this tour focused on that and so was a complete waste of our time. We did not see any modern movie locations and they did not speak about any modern movies (apart from Fast and Furious 1). Overall this tour was a waste of $50 and 2 hours and was described all wrong on the website.
