Snorkel with Sharks - We had a great time snorkeling with sharks! I wish we would have known that the equipment rental was all day so that we could have planned differently and spent more time. We saw a bunch of Leopard Sharks and a few random fish. The staff @ Bike and Kayak Tours were friendly and helpful!

Fun and Unique - The experience was interesting and the sights of sea creatures underwater were amazing. I would absolutely go again, it was fun.

Fun experience, worth a try - Bike and Kayak team was very nice and helpful. Word to wise, if you are not a strong swimmer don't do this tour as you do need to be able to swim out from the beach. I had issues with flippers to big and just too nervous of swimmer. Team was very kind and my kids still got to go out with the instructors. Only one of the three kids saw a leopard shark but that is the luck of the draw. I think the kids would try it again. Would also be cool if Bike and Kayak Tours had water cameras and took pics that you could buy.

La Jolla Shark greeting - The experience was awesome. Conditions were not that great, but you can’t always plan for everything. Saw lots of wildlife first time seeing a leopard shark in its natural habitat. Highly recommend Bike and Kayak Tours for supplies and great service. Staff was very fond of my shark tattoo.

Good experience - Although we didn’t find or see any leopard sharks, we really had fun. My 10 year year-old were nervous about this event so that is why we didn’t really try to go for then expected into the water. Our tour guide were very nice and accommodating.

Cool but cold - Friendly, knowledgeable staff but the water was so very cold. Most of us couldn't stay in the water long enough to spot the leopard shark or big guitar fish. Those that did were rewarded but so cold.

Disappointing - Very disappointed, the service on the people in charge below any expectations, don’t rent them, go by yourself, kind of the same

Guide disappeared so no "tour" - Horrible. Don't waste your money. Basically spent a lot of money to just "rent" snorkeling equipment as our guide disappeared once we entered the water. There was NO tour. Spent tons on seven tickets as a special adventure for a Sweet 16. Didn't even know when our "tour" was over as our guide was gone. Very disappointing experience.

Too Dangerous - Too bad!!!! Not safe at all!!!!!!!!! They just bring you to walk along the beach and then stay there for a couple of minutes. Then they just leave you alone. No any equipment for safety purpose!!!

Skip this place and go to the beach on your own - I paid $200 for my two kids and I to be taken to a beach we could've easily go to on our own. The guide was with us for a very short time then headed back to the shop to start another tour. Not that we needed her. She had no special insights to where the leopard sharks might be and we never saw one, with or without her, despite staying a long while after she split. If you want a chance at seeing leopard sharks, just go to the beach near their facility. That way, if you don't see any, you'll not have shelled out any dough. Their facilities and equipment were in absolute shambles. The place was dirty, a complete mess, and the list of things that were out-of-order boggles the mind. One entire bathroom was out of commission, none of the showers worked (the best you could do was rinse your feet), the paper towel dispenser in the one working bathroom was busted, etc. For a tour that requires you to change out of your clothes and into their stinky wetsuits, they provide no free place to put your things. They'll happily charge you extra for a too-small locker though. It feels like this business is a cash-grab. They'll happily take your money but they provide next to nothing in the way of service. I felt taken advantage of. Do not reccomend.
