Great experience first time whitewater rafting! - I did the half day Browns Canyon rafting tour and highly recommend it! Their staff and guides are friendly and have a great deal of expertise. Our raft was a mix of inexperienced and minimal experience and our guide Jeremy made it look easy to get us safely through the trip, though I'm certain it takes a great deal of skill on the guides' part. The canyon is truly stunning from start to finish! This was my first time whitewater rafting and I felt safe the entire time. They also offer wetsuits, booties, splash jackets for anyone that wants to use them. And private areas were available for changing if needed. We also heard from locals that this was the best run company for this kind of adventure.

Just right water challenge - What a fantastic activity with family. There were 6 of us, fitting perfectly in the rafts. Ages were 28 to 73. Benny was our guide. He was very skilled making sure we had just enough excitement and well timed splashes. The weather was perfect. The water carried us down stream. Most of us had not rafted before, we received good instructions and had a blast.

Loved the adventure and our guide Blaine! - My family had a blast! We thoroughly enjoyed the scenery and adventure. Blaine was an outstanding guide - funny, personable and extremely skilled. Would definitely raft again with Performance Tours and would insist on Blaine as our guide.

Fun Filled, Exciting Raft Trip - The rafting trip was rated a 3+ difficulty... right in the middle.. at some times it was calm and beautiful and at others we we navigating the rapids and the rocks.... with plenty of splashes! Very exhilarating. Our guide and navigator, Christina, was top notch... she gave us clear instructions and together we were able to avoid most of the boulders. Our group was 2 couples between 60-70 years old and we felt like kids. I would highly recommend this experience and company to anyone from 8 to 80 !

Fun family adventure - I did this trip with my 2 sisters and (2) 11 year old boys. We had such a good time! We went the last available weekend and even though the water levels were low, according to our guides, we still got to experience some excitement. This was our first time rafting. Before we left the office we were equipped with all gear needed, we opted out of wetsuits as it was very warm and the water temp was in the 60s. We also opted out of booties and wore our sneakers knowing they would get soaked. I highly recommend a bathing suit or quick dry workout clothing as you will get wet. When we arrived at the start of our raft adventure we went over key safety information and met our guide, Luke. Luke was awesome. He narrated our trip down the river informing us about the history of our surroundings and pointing out cool things to see along the way. He was encouraging when we were confused about the paddling strokes and gave us opportunities to practice and get better. I’m pretty sure he was doing the majority of the work for us but we tried our best. We had a few chances to dip into the river to cool off and then help each other back in the raft. At the end of our rafting we loaded a bus for the 20ish minutes drive back to the office. There are clean restrooms and changing rooms at the office which is nice as you definitely wa t to change into dry clothes and shoes after your trip. We were so delighted to see our photos for purchase at the end as this was definitely a family trip we all want to remember.

Sean the bomb! - First time rafting and will definitely do it again! Incredible experience and highly recommend our guide, Sean. He was so friendly, knowledgeable and always put our safety at the forefront. He made our trip truly unforgettable!

Safe, Fun and exciting - We had the best time with Sean on the river. Felt extremely safe throughout the day. Excited to come back and ride with Sean to hear more about rafting adventures and the fascinating history in the canyon.

Excellent Company! - This was the first time for my wife and kids (12, 11, & 9). We had an excellent time!! Shamus, our guide was excellent and we felt completely safe with him. The Brown half day was perfect for our kids. I would highly recommend Performance in many ways. They provide wet suits, and splash jackets. Most importantly, they provide booties which are better than any shoes you might bring! Wear them! All said, excellent company, can’t recommend highly enough!!!

Great time - My wife and I had an excellent time! Our river guide, Blaine, made the trip worth it! Highly recommend this tour and your extra lucky if you get him as your guide.

Excellent river guide and more - We were well prepared by the staff with good equipment and all the important information for white water rafting. Our river guide, Ellie, was friendly, excellent in calling out commands and maneuvering us through all kinds of rapids. We felt safe with her expertise. Highly recommend!
