Best white water rafting guide on the Arkansas River! - My husband and I decided to go raft last minute on our camping trip. We have both rafted before so I decided to look up the hardest, most fun, 1/2 day trip. This ended up being with Performance Tours 1/2 day and part of the River stretch called "Numbers". We were put with our rafting guide KELLY and she was AMAZING! it was just her my husband and I and a ride along. She was able to guide us through the toughest rapids with excellent instruction and even when we goofed was able to "T " up the boat so we did not flip. It was just what we need and such a fun trip. I would HIGHLY recommend KELLY to anyone that wants to go rafting hard or easy. But I think she really likes the hard..... Also have to say our safety man Jared was awesome too riding ahead to watching out for us just in case. You are in very very safe hands with Kelly! Numbers 1/2 day was not a drop down choice so picked the other trip she guides and says is a must do!

Amazing first experience!!! - So it was my first time white water rafting and it was AWESOME!!! James did a fantastic job scaring everyone during the safety orientation and James (yes it’s another James) did just as well making sure we got to our destinations. Just joking, they were great! I was there with my daughter and we got paired up with Kurt and Gabe. They did an amazing job instructing us and navigating the river. Aside from his rafting skills, Kurt gave us tips on many hikes and places to see in the area. And what I appreciated the most was when he spotted a Big Horn Sheep which had been eluding!!! Thanks Kurt! Performance Tours is an amazing outfit that made my first white water rafting experience fun, safe, and a memorable one. I would go back to them on my next visit and definitely recommend Performance Tours for a white water rafting experience.

Simply awesome! - Highly recommend performance tour whitewater rafting. Our group had never been rafting before and we were fortunate that we chose a solid company. Our guide Kurt was outstanding. Very professional, highly experienced and well versed on whitewater rafting. He put us at ease and provided us a great experience on the water. Definitely planning on a return trip. Put the Royal Gorge on your bucket list.

Most fun Rafting ever! - Joe knew the river like the back of his hand and guided us through the class 4's effortlessly. We all had the time if our lives and so much fun! Everyone that's able needs to go on this trip with Performance Rafting.

Best Experience - First time rafter. These folks know what they are doing. We had a blast! Our guide, Adam, was a pro. We’ll be back.

10/10 would recommend - We had a great time. Our guide, Sherpa, was really chill and made the whole trip as enjoyable as possible. 10/10 would recommend.

Epic adventure! - Kurt and Joe were hilarious, calm and obviously seasoned guides. They suggested wet suits, which was definitely the best way to go this time of year. Kurt kept us informed and taught us a lot of cool history as we went down the gorge. He gave us good tips on improving our form and getting the most out of our adventure. Overall such an epic experience and next time we will do a full day for sure and we will request Kurt.

Will be back for sure! - Great rapids and an even better guide! Sherpa was the best and we had a great experience with him. We loved the small and intimate feel of the company, vs the bigger companies nearby. Will definitely be coming back!

Great tme! - Even though the water was low, we still had a great trip and some exciting rapids. Our guide was great with a good sense of humor.

Laughs and great views - Drew, Kirk and Joe were amazing guides. Very knowledgeable and kept us very safe. They were great laughs and lots of rapids. Definitely will be back with this crew. The views of the gorge are breath talking.
