Super fun event! - My wife and I attended the dinner cooking show where they explained how the food was prepared as they served the dishes. The two chefs were fantastic! They were very entertaining, provided history of the food, and cracked jokes to make it a fun event. We did the 7pm dinner. We would have liked to try the cocktail making event, but unfortunately, it was our last day. I highly recommend booking one of these events, you won’t be disappointed.

New Cooking Show in KW - New fun activity in Key West. Live Cooking show near Mallory Square. Different meals featured daily. Wonderful presentation, combining history and cooking techniques accompanied with delicious full meal. Our selection was Mojo roast pork with chimichiri and black beans and rice. Started with tasty conch fritters, crispy plaintains and Sangria too. Would definitely try again on next trip to KW.

Learn more about food as you eat it! - I would do this again and again! Being a foody who also loves to cook, I cannot think of a better way to spend the evening. Since it's just a cooking demo, you aren't pressured to talk, ask or answer questions if you don't feel like it. You do get to enjoy everything the chef is preparing and they provide you get tips and tricks about each course along the way. Notebook and recipe cards provided as well. 10/10 recommend.

Attention all Cooks and foodies ! - My husband and I loved this cooking demo ! The class included some history of Key West and the foods that make island culture unique . Karl and Chef Melanie were entertaining , and gave us great tips to recreate the dishes at home. We were served each dish as they talked about it and cooked.
We would definitely go again and chose a different menu to learn about. Arrive hungry !

So much more than we expected! Definitely GO! - Chef Karl was fantastic! Entertaining, informative and totally in control of the kitchen. He shared stories and tips throughout the meal preparation that kept us all engaged and learning new tips to take back to our own kitchens. The ingredients were all fresh and delicious, making the entire meal memorable - and with the recipe cards and notes we should be able to make it ourselves at home.
We were the only tourists that night, so it’s great to see they’re drawing repeat local customers already. We will definitely put this on our recommendations list and cannot wait to come back and do it again ourselves! Our meal was vermillion snapper with Creole sauce, white sangria, plantain chips with chimichurri dipping sauce and an amazing guava bread pudding with ‘guava lava’ sauce! Wow!!

NOT TO BE MISSED KEY WEST EXPERIENCE! - The space, chef/host demonstration, food quality and local story telling is first class Took a friend for his Birthday to the lunch show and he said it was best birthday present ever! I can’t wait to go back for the craft cocktail demonstration.

Key West Cooking School- A lovely experience for everyone! - Absolutely fabulous experience! Fun, entertaining and educational. Highly recommend this for everyone! The food was delicious as well. Overall, this was one of the BEST experiences KW has to offer, no matter if it’s your first time or 30th time to the island. Mel is lovely!

If you’re debating about doing this, Do it! - Super Fun, Impressive, Informative, Delicious! Had a great time! Will do it again for dinner, we did the lunch session with the Jerk chicken, sooooo good! We also learned some cool cooking tips and the history about the food we were eating! Don’t forget about the cocktails, our Chef Karl was so cool, and has an interesting past with food and Key West! Can’t wait to do it again

Delicious Historical Experience - This was a fantastic experience. This is our second time visiting the Key West Cooking School, and we can't wait to come back. The experience and food were terrific. MELANIE and Carl do a great job narrating and cooking.
