Highlights
- 221 Commercial Blvd - You’ll be given gear and beginner instruction, as well as a trip briefing. After that it’s a short walk to the beach where everyone gets some practice in shallow water before a short swim out to the reef. Conditions permitting, you will see a living coral reef with soft and hard corals, colorful sponges and a wide variety of tropical fish. Mike will guide the tour and point out various marine life along the way. Mike is a PADI certified and insured Divemaster and has conducted over 700 guided trips on this beautiful section of reef, which is teeming with life. You will be offered optional photographs above and below the water. All the photos on this page as well as the website were taken by Mike on the section of reef he tours daily.
YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE AN EXPERT SWIMMER, BUT IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU ARE PHYSICALLY ABLE TO SWIM AND ARE COMFORTABLE PUTTING YOUR FACE IN THE WATER

Since 2014, Mike has conducted over 800 trips on this magnificent section of reef in beautiful Lauderdale by the Sea. NOBODY knows this reef better!
This unique spot is only a few minutes swim from shore and consists of hard and soft corals, fantastic colorful sponges, and a wide variety of amazing marine life! No need to spend all day traveling on a boat! Conditions permitting, we see angelfish, parrotfish, blue headed wrasse and sergeant majors on a daily basis. We also often see various types of rays, sea turtles, eels and nurse sharks (NOT dangerous!). From the water we have a great view of the quaint town and historic Anglin’s Pier and you will have the opportunity to have your picture taken with them in the background.
Mike will show you some of the best spots on the reef and can identify most of the fish you will see, and is a certified and insured Divemaster! This is a personal experience consisting of small groups, usually 4-6 people, with a maximum of 8.

Brilliant snorkeling trip - We met Mike in a car park just opposite the beach, easy to find and able to grab a parking spot straight away.
Mike is extremely likeable and easy to be around. He helped us with our equipment and answered any questions we had.
Short walk across to the beach where we waded in to the water, and slowly made our way out to the reef. My wife and daughter were a little anxious and very hesitant but Mike was calm and relaxed and in no rush whatsoever. They took their time, acclimatised and in the end they really enjoyed the experience. Mike seriously was brilliant at helping them every step of the way.
Swam over the reef, saw a turtle, stingray, puffer fish, angel fish, and so much more!
All in all, a great trip and very enjoyable. Thanks Mike, hope to see you again when we're next in the area :)

Snorkeling with Mike - Absolutely amazing tour! Mike was incredibly informative and helpful in preparing us for our first snorkel experience. Mike was very informative throughout the snorkeling experience. We saw a variety of fish. Mike provided us with the pictures he took throughout the journey. This was definitely the highlight of our family trip. I highly recommend snorkeling with Mike. Thank you Mike for our first family snorkling experience.

Stop thinking ; just go ahead and book a dive!!! - Absolutely spectacular tour! Mike was incredibly informative and helpful in preparing us for our dive. We saw a variety of fish, stingrays, and even a turtle! Mike quickly provided us with pictures, including numerous shots of the sea life we encountered. This was definitely the highlight of our trip, and we cannot recommend Mike enough. Thank you again for this once-in-a-lifetime experience!

Snorkel with Mike! You're in good hands. - I went with my 13 year old daughter and we both had a great experience. My daughter was blown away by the beauty of the ocean life that we got to encounter. The swim was a little challenging for me, to be honest. Mike did a great job of checking in on me and allowing me the time I needed, while at the same time encouraging and directing the rest of the group and keeping them engaged. He's an excellent guide and we would definitely hire him again. Snorkel with Mike! You will be in good hands.

We had an amazing... - We had an amazing snorkeling experience with Mike. He was an excellent guide, perfectly explained how to use the equipment and was extremely knowledgeable about the sea life we saw. Offering the option to have pictures was great as he was able to capture our experience of snorkeling and the sea life we saw. This by far is the best option for a guided snorkeling tour.

Mike is the best! - We had an amazing time out on the reef with Mike, where we got to see some really cool animals like a nurse shark, spotted eagle ray, and plenty of gorgeous fish! He did a great job of guiding us to the best spots, pointing out wildlife, and taking pics we will cherish for a long time! It’s clear that Mike really knows his stuff. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a fun snorkeling adventure :)

Thank you Mike! - Mike was amazing! We called him up and took us snorkeling right away. He did a private tour just for me and my husband. Mike was so knowledgeable and gave us so much information about all the sea creatures we encountered. We saw a Nurse shark, sting ray and even a manatee. Thank you Mike for the experience!

Excellent Experience a Must do!! - I have been snorkeling many a time and this was the best experience all due to Mike the guide. He was so knowledgeable and accommodating. Took pictures of us and the fish under water. Checked in with us before and after our Snorkeling. BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!! So professional!
Plus the snorkeling is in a small town by Fort Lauderdale a perfect spot to eat and hang out after your snorkeling adventure. Or stay at the beach.

Fun activity with great guide! - Mike was great! Called me to arrange and explain everything and was very thorough and very reasonable pricing. He was very knowledgeable about the area and where to go. We saw some beautiful coral and swam to a reef. Helped us with a child who couldn't swim and made it possible for him to still enjoy the trip! I didn't see a ton of fish our trip (not Mike's fault) but it was definitely worth the experience, the kids loved it! He also did really cool pictures. Would definitely rebook with Mike!

Choose this Guided Snorkel!!! - Best guided snorkel I’ve been on! Mike is a great guide with lots of experience and certifications to back it up. He even took pictures of us in the water! We saw a ton of fish- Angel fish, blue fish, yellow fish, a huge variety of schools of fish, and coolest of all- two nurse sharks! My family has a good amount of experience snorkeling- guided and without guides. I like guided snorkels because a guide makes you feel safer, my 11 year old is nervous around schools of fish, with Mike around, I always knew my child was safe. I also really appreciated that our group was small so it really felt personal.
My advice? Skip the cheap hour of guided, crowded snorkeling and spend the extra money on this. You can really tell Mike is so passionate about the reef.
