We venture to Horseshoe Crab Island to witness the sunset in this paradise. Explore the island with your group and make new friends. Take the opportunity to stroll along the sandbar, searching for wildlife like horseshoe crabs and bioluminescent comb jellies. Scoop the water in your hands and watch as the brilliant stars emerge! Enjoy a brief swim in the bioluminescence and create your own “glow angels.”
Once the sun has set, the bioluminescent magic begins. The vibrant colors of bioluminescence are indescribable. Fish illuminate with an ethereal blue as they swim beneath your paddleboard or kayak. It’s an enchanting experience.
This adventure lasts 2 hours from start to finish, with 1.5 hours guaranteed on the water.

As the sun sets, our welcoming guides will take you on an incredible evening journey by clear kayak or paddleboard on the Indian River Lagoon. The adventure includes a hike around Horseshoe Crab Island!
Search for horseshoe crabs and other marine creatures like dolphins and manatees as the sun goes down.
After sunset, continue paddling into the night where the water and fish beneath are illuminated by the glow of dinoflagellates.
Later Tour: Bioluminescence & Stargazing
During this tour, the darkness of the night allows the stars to shine brightly above, while the bioluminescence glows below. It’s recommended to download a stargazing app to explore the constellations.
Note: Tours may be delayed by up to an hour to accommodate weather conditions.
When the dinoflagellate bioluminescence season concludes, the comb jelly bioluminescence season begins! Participants will also receive high-powered, multi-colored LED lighting systems for their vessels to enhance the experience.
