Highlights
  • Grand Prismatic Spring - The Grand Prismatic is a must-see for any Yellowstone visitor. This is Mother Nature at her finest. The Grand Prismatic has captivated millions of visitors from around the globe. Not only is it one of the most breathtaking sites on Earth, but it also plays a role in significant scientific discoveries. The thermophiles of the Grand Prismatic are not only stunning and colorful but are also used in medical resources worldwide. The beautiful “bacteria” is a must-see on your Yellowstone vacation!
  • Firehole Canyon Drive - Explore this picturesque area of Yellowstone, home to the beautiful Firehole Falls. Dip your feet into the Firehole River in this stunning locale while anglers fish for native Cutthroat trout.
  • Fountain Paint Pot - The Fountain Paint Pots is definitely one of my personal favorites. This incredible geyser basin features many types of geothermal attractions all in one place.
  • Old Faithful - Well… no trip to Yellowstone would be complete without witnessing this iconic attraction. Old Faithful has been a focal point of Yellowstone since the time of the early indigenous people and later by General Washburn. Old Faithful has inspired visitors to Yellowstone for hundreds of years.
  • Firehole Lake Drive - Discover several fascinating geothermal features on the Firehole Lake Drive, such as the exciting Firehole Spring and a walk around Firehole Lake!

Best Investment - A must! Shari was not only our guide for the day, but became a friend. She found the best spots to view animals or nature. We never would have seen as much if we had driven on our own. We thoroughly enjoyed our day! (we enjoyed it so much we booked a second day to see the Mustangs)

Excellent Tour - 12 hours well spent! - I’m typically not into structured tours but Yellowstone seemed a bit overwhelming so we decided to go that route. I’m so glad that we did. We had the best day. Our tour guide, Alice, was amazing. She was so friendly and accommodating and she has a ton of interesting knowledge about the park. I learned so much! We got super lucky in that it was rainy and chilly. Why was that lucky? Well the park was way less crowded and Alice was able to get us to all of the best attractions. We got to see bison, elk, mule deer, 2 grizzly bears and 2 cubs, osprey, and big horn sheep. The geysers, waterfalls, and canyons are simply awesome. Basically, don’t be afraid to go on a rainy day. Yellowstone was fantastic and our organized tour really made the trip.

Great tour and Alice is the bomb!!! - My wife and I were on our first trip to Yellowstone Country. We stayed in Cody, WY, for 6 nights. Our plan was to drive around Yellowstone National Park stopping at suggested sites. We had several people in Cody recommend going on a tour with Cody WY Adventures, so we did just that. GREAT TOUR AND WORTH EVERY PENNY! Our guides Alice and trainee Sherry were AMAZING! By the time we finished up the tour, we felt like part of the family.

Cody Wyoming adventure - Excellent. Our guide Nicky was extremely knowledgeable about the geology and the volcanic features of the park as she has a degree in both. The picnic was wonderful with great sandwiches. This is the best way to visit this gigantic park.

Great tour, great guide, great vehicle. - Saw some amazing stuff on this tour. Van was clean and stocked with water and snacks and even binoculars. Our tour guide Dave was so knowledgeable of the area and knew the perfect level of when to share and when to quietly let us enjoy. He was always available to us for our every need. Definitely recommend this tour especially with Dave. Thank you.
