Salt Therapy, also referred to as Halotherapy, is a drug-free holistic therapy that recreates the microclimate of a salt cave and helps treating respiratory conditions such as cold, flu, allergies, asthma, bronchitis, sinus infections and more. In addition, the anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties of salt therapy effectively treat skin conditions such as eczema, dermatitis and psoriasis. What to wear?
The temperature inside the Salt Rooms is regular room temperature. You may wear anything that you are comfortable in, preferably lighter in colors, and you will remain entirely clothed for the whole 45 minute session.
What is the process?
When you arrive at The Salt Room, you’ll be guided into a Salt Cave where you’ll settle into lounge chairs surrounded by salt-coated walls and floors. During your session, a Halogenerator will grind pharmaceutical-grade salt into tiny particles and pump it into the air. As you breathe in this salt-infused air, it will penetrate deep into your lungs and airways, helping to clear mucus, open your airways, reduce inflammation, and improve your breathing.
