Our historic trolley tour starts at the visitor center located at 2 Susquehanna St. and travels through the Jim Thorpe Memorial, the Lehigh Gorge State Park, up Broadway past all the shops, restaurants, and museums, reaching Mauch Chunk Lake before returning to the visitor center. This 70-minute tour offers a fantastic way to explore much of Jim Thorpe, showcasing its beautiful natural scenery, exciting activities, and historic buildings along Broadway! The tour features live narration, sharing fascinating stories about the town’s history and its namesake.
- Please arrive in town at least an hour prior to the tour due to parking limitations

Must do intro to Jim Thorpe!! - We did the trolley tour as soon as we arrived to Jim Thorpe for a 2 night and 3 day stay. It was a perfect way to start our visit. The trolley driver/host was informative and entertaining. Free icy bottled water was a nice treat. The extra stop at the bird sanctuary and allowing us to see the birds was a nice surprise!

Very fun. Very informative - PJ was our tour guide. She made the tour very fun while giving a ton of information about Jim Thorpe the man and the town.

One of the Best Trolley Tours - I’ve enjoyed several Trolley Tours in different states and this one excelled above all others. Our driver has accrued extensive knowledge about JimThorpe-the man and his life and history-and the history of the quaint and beautiful town of JimThorpe. The trolley tour was informative, interesting and fun. It’s the perfect introduction to beautiful JimThorpe and the surrounding area.

Exceptional tour and guide - We took this guided trolley tour on July 4, 2024. The tour and guide did not disappoint. It was a nice relaxing 70 minute ride. Our tour guide PJ was very informative and we learned a lot about the town. The price Is very reasonable.
