- Shelter Cove Harbour & Marina - The tour begins with a boat ride from Shelter Cove Marina to the back side of Daufuskie Island. The ride is an essential part of the tour! Along the way, we will stop to observe dolphins and other wildlife. Additionally, we will view and discuss the sites on Daufuskie and the neighboring islands that are best seen from the water. Your captain is a naturalist.
- Daufuskie Island Historical Foundation - Once on Daufuskie, you’ll get on golf carts and take a tour of the undeveloped, historic side of the island. We stop at nearly all of the significant historic sites, visit with local residents, and meet the artisans of Daufuskie. Your guide is a historian, so along the way, we have numerous stops, discussions, visits, and will go inside everywhere appropriate. For locations that are not occupied, we have keys. The cost includes everything: your boat ride there and back, your golf carts, all the stops, all staffing, refreshments, and snacks.
