Highlights
  • Lake Austin - While sipping on complementary Hot Cocoa, we will enjoy a short slow boat cruise through Bull Creek and the Tom Miller Damn while we journey to the infamous Mozarts Holiday Light Show.
  • Little Bee Creek - This quiet tributary is a hidden natural oasis, offering a peaceful detour from the main lake. The lush vegetation along its banks creates a serene habitat for wildlife, while the meandering creek reveals charming nooks and secluded docks. It’s an ideal spot for nature enthusiasts to catch glimpses of herons, turtles, and other native creatures in their undisturbed environment.
  • Tom Miller Dam - This historical dam, completed in 1940, forms Lake Austin and plays a critical role in flood control, power generation, and recreation. Its art deco architecture and impressive structure harness the mighty Colorado River, taming it to provide a steady water supply while creating a serene lake. The dam is an engineering marvel that helps maintain the water level and makes Lake Austin a haven for boating enthusiasts.
  • Hula Hut - Combining Tex-Mex cuisine with Polynesian flair, Hula Hut creates an exciting tropical escape on the lakeshore. The thatched-roof décor, bamboo accents, and tiki torches transport diners to a faraway island, while the menu offers a delicious fusion of flavors. The large deck overlooks the water, offering sweeping views of Lake Austin and a front-row seat to boaters and kayakers passing by

Cute show, however we were never offered coffee or cocoa. - Listening to the Live music was a treat. A nice introduction to the holiday season, but nice that it was a variety of music.

A rip off - This should be called waterfront view of light show. It’s really not a boat tour. It’s a bit ridiculous to get in a boat for a 4 minute boat ride to the store next door. The view from the light show is not great from the boat either. We left feeling very duped. Then upon departing we were told that a tip was “required”nothing was stated online and we already felt very unsatisfied with this whole event. It’s a rip off. Their website is claiming 5 star reviews this is deceptive trade practice as this show only has 3 reviews and they are all bad.
