- 29PM+X7 Big Water - Participants will gear up at the parking area with helmets, harnesses, and all necessary devices. The guide will lead the way to the canyon entrance (a short walk!). Once inside, participants will hike and possibly scramble to the first rappel, where the guide will review techniques and ensure safety with a backup belay. The canyon features a total of 3 rappels. The guide will take photos as participants enjoy the adventure and hike through the stunning canyon walls. At the end of the slot canyon, participants will scramble up a sandstone slab and hike back to the main trailhead. The entire experience is estimated to take 3-4 hours from start to finish. This is one of the most beautiful and accessible slot canyons in the Page/Lake Powell area. It is beginner-friendly, and the guides are confident that anyone up for the challenge can complete it!

Blue Pools is an excellent canyon for beginners. It features 3 to 4 rappels and a scramble/hike back to the car. The tallest rappel is 55 feet. We plan for this trip to take 2 to 3 hours, depending on the size of the group. All of our trips are private, so you won’t be waiting on anyone outside your group. You’ll meet your guide at the trailhead, get outfitted with the necessary canyon gear, and then your guide will lead you through this beautiful slot canyon. The canyon has been primarily shaped by water erosion over time, creating a natural obstacle course. While the canyon is usually dry, it can retain some water after a storm.
