Learn something new everyday - We met our tour guide, Doug, at the appointed time and place. Some others had issues with the headsets but ours were fine. We toured several different sites in downtown Richmond. Doug was a very good speaker and pointed out different things along the route that made it more interesting. We had taken a tour of the Confederate White House a few days before. On Doug’s tour of the area, he pointed out a ‘Witness Tree’. I always find those to be very interesting. When we reached the official last stop, he asked if anyone was pressed for time as he had 2 more points of interest. We had nothing else planned so went along. The last stop was the home of Robert E. Lee’s wife during the war and where he went after the surrender. Very interesting and moving story about his stay there. Tour was very interesting and informative. Route is very walkable with no uncomfortable inclines. We even stopped halfway through for a restroom break. I’d recommend this tour if you want to know more about the City of Richmond than just its role in the Civil War.

Wonderful tour in Richmond - The guide said it was her first tour and she did GREAT! Very knowledgeable and accommodating. We visited wonderful spots that made the tour enjoyable. Thumbs up!! The only thing is that at the beginning, a veteran tour guide also joined us and provided the ear plugs and the little remote for the audio tour; well, I would suggest that they let us test the volume before the tour officially starts to allow everyone be ready to go. I messed mine and then couldn't hear the guide.

Hot but informative Richmond day - Erin was a wonderful guide! She’s very knowledgeable and guided us to see the neatest murals and statues. Although it was hot, it was a great way to spend a Saturday 😊

Great tour! - Kathy was a great tour guide! Very knowledgeable, friendly, and knew some good local food recommendations for lunch. She made sure to keep us out of the sun for too long, whenever possible.

Great tour of a fascinating city! - Kathy was super knowledgeable and really interesting! We had a fantastic time with her and got a feel for the city! Excellent tour and would totally recommend it! Just the right amount of walking and Kathy did a great job keeping us in the shade as much as she could (it was hot!). The earphones were a nice touch! All tours should use them!
