We meet at Wasena Park, which is the take-out, so when you finish the float you are right back at your car. Please arrive 15 mins before your scheduled start time so we can cover all the pre-float information and get everyone ready to get on the water.

Great fun - Great place! Lots of fun and very organized. Only negative was all the rocks in the river but they can't do anything about that! Very helpful people and a fun time

Fun family time - Family fun, great sevice and very nice. A nice less than 2-hour tubbing trip. we had a nice easy trip to the drop off (5 minutes). Enjoyed our time as a family and this is our 4th year booking. (And a great job backing up the van)

Float on the Roanoke River - A great way to spend the afternoon. We saw lots of wildlife and just enjoyed the leisurely pace of floating down the river. RMA took care of everything and provided top notch equipment for us to use. The entire process was simple and efficient. Employees I dealt with were extremely friendly.

A Fun, Easy Float! - This tour company was so friendly! Our guide met us at Wasena Park and drove us to the launch point. We were provided with a tube and paddle and a few tips to keep us safe and happy. My husband and I floated down the Roanoke River, which was a very slow-moving, leisurely float. The weather was beautiful, and we saw otter, beaver, snakes, fish, and a few other people either fishing or paddling by. This is a great float for the family, and there were one to two parts with a bit of excitement, but nothing close to Class 1 rapids. Tip: Take the optional paddle that is offered. It will help you in the parts that are lovely doldroms or help you get off rocks if the bottom of the tube gets stuck. FYI, this is a shallow paddle, so you can touch bottom, for those that are nervous about deep water. DO THIS TOUR! YOU WILL LOVE IT!

Fun w/ kids! - Great time! The kids had so much fun. They found a rope swing and had a blast w/ it, swimming and going down the "drop off's".

Age appropriate.. perfect pace! - This trip was so perfect! We are an older couple and the activity pace was just our speed! The staff was amazing! Patient, informative, flexible and easy to work with. We will definitely book here again if the opportunity arises!

Lots of fun, but be ready to get stuck! - This tour was great and the operators are extremely friendly and helpful! They suggested that we not link our tubes but without tying them together I was yelling across the river at my fiance lol:) The river is mostly placid with a few rapids that are lots of fun--just make sure you hold on tight!

Tubing and Fishing the Roanoke - Really great day tubing the Roanoke river with Roanoke Mountain Adventures. The trip itself was great, water was running a little slow and low but no need to walk the tubes. The tubes are great big strong ones with canvas shells. The river was beautiful, scenic bridges and overpasses and green, water was clear.
Now the best part - one of my sons is an avid fisherman and asked RMA if he could bring his fishing pole. Not only did they say Yes, they challenged him to catch a fish for a tshirt! He caught a few and yes, he was awarded the shirt! These guys are really great, very friendly and accommodating! We will definitely be going again, great way to make a little afternoon In Roanoke!
