Worth it - Nice navigation. I recommend it. Remember to check the time of your visit to see if you can also combine it with watching penguins - the longer navigation.

Beautiful catamaran - We took the catamaran to the southernmost lighthouse through the Beagle Channel. We saw catamarans and sea lions. It was OK, but I have to say we were higher up in Patagonian already on a few boat trips and had different experiences than this.

Nice experience, small scale. - It is a fun experience on a smaller boat and the guides try to make the explanation intimate / small. Which is nice. Trip of 3.5 hours is also sufficient for sailing to the lighthouse and back. Imagine nothing of drinking. Little instant coffee and cocoa. No big deal. Not sure if this is worth 85€ pp. That is up to everyone to judge personally. We thought it was at the price.

Lovely experience but thought it was a bit overpriced - Had a lovely time and felt like we saw the main sights in Ushuaia - definitely the thing to do. We saw some sea lions but not too many and the lighthouse of course. We it was a little overpriced for what it was. We got a tour in Punta Arenas to Magdalen’s Island for the penguins and ended up seeing way more sea lions on this one!

An excursion to chase whales? - I took out with the company TOLKEYEN but the navigation was one called HEADING SOUTH, I guess it must be a fool of all companies, since you take out with one and you get another and everything like that. The point is that I take this tour at 57 thousand pesos, with trekking in the Bridge Islands, to be able to see icons of the beagle channel like the lighthouse of Les Eclaireurs, but it turns out that when you sail it does not end up being so First you get on the boat and you find that it is a half-boy space, the tables are for 6 people, so if you go less you have to "share" them with others, if you want to grab a good place, I suggest you go as soon as it opens. Secondly you are greeted by the speech of the "photographers", explaining all the service they "offer", the same consists of paying 30 thousand pesos (price JUNE 24), to take photos and whatnot, the one who wanted paid it and the one who did not, it was no problem. The only thing that seemed wrong was that they said they were going to take pictures of everyone and then see if they buy them or not (similar they do on the end of the world train), luckily I didn’t see them take pictures without my consent, but you saw them there boasting that they had Top-rated places reserved for them and blah blah blah. But what is worse for me is that this tour is dedicated to the harassment of marine fauna, if as you read it. This tour is supposed to tour the iconic spots and admire them, not to go around whales with the boat, nor approach insistently and compulsively the islands where the animals were. I didn’t really pay for a tour so they’d be throwing the boat over the whales, nor to be 15 minutes off the island where the sea lions are. I think it's fourth rate, chasing the whales with the boat and trying to get as high as possible for a couple of photos and selfies. Being looking for whales or being in excessive time in front of sea lions is that valuable light time was lost (more in the winter!), to be able to take good photos of the lighthouse of Les Eclaireurs that is the last point of the excursion. Luckily the trekking is done first (although it is very brief), because otherwise they would skip it. Honestly, if one pays for an excursion to admire certain points, at least fulfill it to a decent extent, because the lighthouse comes in gloom practically just for wasting time with the fauna. If you are so interested in the subject of sea lions, whales and cormorants, then take an exclusive tour for that, so I don't hire you. The excursions are expensive enough to have to come back disappointed.

I regret it - It sickens me the contamination and exploitation of natural resources I've experienced in this voyage.... they get TOO CLOSE to the animals...and the captain stayed for several minutes only a few meters away from the animals... it saddens me that our own people violently take economic advantage of our fauna and rivers. The landscapes were nothing compared to the ones you can see in trekking excursions or by car. I would not recommend this experience, we need to protect our animals and leave them alone.

Nice tour but rude operator - The Beagle channel tour itself was nice, the only issue we had was with the operators. They have the meetup/pickup time as 3 PM in Viator. For every single other trek/tour, that means we meet at 3 PM. For them, it means meet at 2:15 PM with a 2:40 PM deadline. I did make a mistake in reading their message and reading 2:30, so when they messaged me at 2:10 that they were outside while we were still getting ready, it was a surprise. I apologized for the misunderstanding and offered to buy a taxi so they wouldn't have to wait. They decided to wait. When I got in the car and greeted the driver and apologized for the misunderstanding, she completely ignored me and started driving. Only talking to us when we were arriving in an annoyed tone without much explanation. After our trip they said they would take us home, great! Our boat landed and there was a line to buy the professional photos the photographers took, so we delayed about 15 minutes after arrival to finish buying the photos which is a well known service on the boat. They left us there without so much a message. Completely disrespectful and rude host (his wife/driver at least, the man texting me was friendly). You are better off taking a $3 taxi to the pier and going to the little green shop and buying the tour for $15 less.
