• Laguna Esmeralda - They pick us up from our accommodation heading north, about 20 minutes from the city. Once we arrive, the guide will explain to us that we must cross the Lasifashaj Valley along a very clear and signposted path depending on the season of the year in which we are, we will cross several peat bogs and rocky terrain.

After a little more forest, we continue our walk bordering the Esmeralda River until we reach the indescribable Laguna Esmeralda, a small lake of glacial origin, which owes its name to the color given to it by the sediments that come from the Ojo del Albino Glacier. This color can only be seen in summer since in winter it will be frozen and covered in snow.

While we enjoy the view of the Lagoon we will recharge our batteries by eating a box lunch. We can now begin the return, where the path will be familiar to us and we will have the last opportunity to appreciate the beauties that surround us. Once the walk is finished we meet again with the vehicle that will be waiting for us to take us back to the city of Ushuaia.
