Laguna Victoria - After traveling 35km on National Route 3, we will reach the junction with Provincial Route J, which will lead us 40km further through the forest, always accompanied by the Lasifahsaj River. Our first stop is Victoria Lake, where we will enjoy breakfast at a historic site rich with the heritage of our native peoples. This lagoon, which freezes in winter, is a natural wonder all year round. After our snack, we will proceed to Puerto Almanza, a quaint fishing village on the east coast of the Beagle Channel, 75 km from Ushuaia.
Puerto Almanza - Puerto Almanza is a charming fishing village on the east coast of the Beagle Channel, 75 km from Ushuaia. The village’s name originates from a sawmill that operated in the area during the 1940s and 1950s. Here, we will admire the local beauty and enjoy a reservation to savor authentic indigenous dishes by the Beagle Canal. You can try Centolla Gratinada with a variety of cheeses, cooked with shortening or the catch of the day.
Cascada Del Duende - After lunch, we will explore one of the most stunning waterfalls in Tierra del Fuego, accessible via a trail suitable for all ages, amidst the river and the lengas forest. This is a must-see walk for families and friends.
4HJ5+JJ - Finally, we will embark on the Centolla Route, stopping at the breathtaking Flag Tree, which offers the best panoramic views of the Beagle Channel and the Chilean islands. We will then return to Ushuaia.
Cape St. Paul and Pyrinean Stay
Paso Garibaldi - We will depart from Ushuaia early in the morning, picking up guests from hotels before traveling on National Route 3. A brief stop will be made for restroom use before continuing our journey. After crossing Lake Fagnano, we will proceed to the access point for complementary route “A,” traveling over 40 km towards the sea to reach Cape St. Paul.
Estancia Pirinaica - This route winds through picturesque rooms and offers breathtaking views of hills, lengas forests, rivers, and cliffs that meet the sea. It is common to see flocks of sheep, guanacos, foxes, and condors. A highlight of the day is visiting the rooms along Complementary Route A, including the authentic Pirinaic Estancia. With nearly 100 years of Patagonian production, it boasts wonderful facilities. We will experience country life, including shearing, and explore workspaces such as carpentry, shearing sheds, the estancia’s main building, and the surrounding forest and environment. We will enjoy a breakfast featuring locally prepared regional products.
Faro San Pablo - After our snack, we will proceed to the San Pablo Lighthouse (depending on tide conditions, we may first visit the Desdémona shipwreck before walking to the lighthouse). We will ascend to the top of the cape via a path. At the summit, the ancient tilted lighthouse stands, and off the coast lies the rusted hull of the “Desdémona,” grounded in the early 1980s, adding a touch of mystery to the End of the World and serving as a reminder of past shipwrecks and adventures in the fierce southern seas.
Camping Miguel Y Silvia - After the lighthouse walk, we will head to the “Fisherman’s House” to enjoy the finest “Robalo” recipes, featuring fresh local fish prepared with the best family recipes from local fishermen. You will savor delicious smoked Robalo patties or seafood, a house specialty, as well as Robalo a la pizza, a unique dish at the end of the world.
