Setting off from the Tourist Pier in our city, we initiate our expedition toward the heart of the Beagle Channel, as we slowly enjoy the expanding view of Ushuaia’s coastline. Heading southwest, we reach the island inhabited by sea lions, witnessing these creatures in their natural surroundings in a magnificent ambiance. We then proceed towards the Birds island, a residence for Magellanic Cormorants and Imperial Cormorants, and an ideal spot to observe various marine bird species. Our journey then takes us towards the Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse. Following the southern shoreline of the Isla Grande de Tierra del Fuego, upon reaching Martillo Island, we will get close to the beach and spectators can marvel at how the colony of Magellanic Penguins, that nest during summer, show a fascinating curiosity towards the boat, diving under the catamaran and resurfacing, a scene that beckons countless photo opportunities. Following this, we complete our expedition by sailing back to the Tourist Pier.
