When one mentions the ‘end of the world’, Ushuaia comes to mind. This city, the furthest south globally, experiences vastly different day lengths throughout the year due to its proximity to the South Pole - up to eighteen hours of daylight in summer and a mere seven or eight in winter. This doesn’t diminish its appeal as a tourist destination.
Ushuaia is nestled between Mount Martial to its west and Mount Olivia and Cinco Hermanos to its east.
