• Cartel Ushuaia - The tour begins on Maipú Avenue, where various attractions can be seen, such as the Civic Square, the site where the National Flag was first raised, the former Police Gamela, the old Government House, the Almacén de Ramos Generales, and the Antiguo Templo de Nuestra Señora de la Merced (Old Temple of Our Lady of Mercy). These buildings are notable for their historical and architectural significance. Before our initial stop at the Ushuaia Cartel for photos, we will view the Monument to the Malvinas Islands.
• Avenida San Martín - The tour continues along San Martin Avenue, the city’s main street, showcasing major shops and historic buildings like the Antigua Casa de Pioneros, the New Temple of Nuestra Sra. de la Merced, the Secretary of Tourism, the current Government House, City Hall, Bar Ideal, and the Post Office. At the street’s end, we will see the Almirante Berisso Naval Base and the Old Prison and Jail for Recidivists.
• Mirador Héroes de Malvinas - The tour proceeds to the first balcony, “Mirador Héroes de Malvinas,” offering the first panoramic views of the city.
• Cross-country skiing circuit Francisco Jerman - We will continue along the renowned national route number 3 (Leandro Alem Avenue) and then take a detour on the winding mountain road to the Francisco Jerman cross-country ski slopes. Here, a short walk through the Fuegian forests allows us to admire the mountainous landscape crowned by the Martial Glacier.
• Mirador Las Hayas - After the walk, we will pass through the neighborhoods of Ushuaia, visiting the second and third balconies: “Mirador de Las Hayas” and “Mirador Los Cañones.”
• Los Cauquenes - The tour concludes with a delightful duo of cakes and a hot beverage, overlooking the shores of the Beagle Channel, where there is an opportunity to descend to the beach and enjoy the stunning scenery.
