Beautiful sanctuary, great food, great time - Josue was a great guide. He helped us get to the sanctuary where we weee able to walk through the jungle and see monkeys and crocodiles along with some other animals. The lunch was perfect and the location we ate was beautiful. The kayaking was fun but my one criticism of the day was the kayak guide wasn’t very patient with us. We weren’t very experienced kayakers and he kept leaving us way behind. But the view was great and we just went at our own pace.

Up close and personal with monkeys - Wow! This tour was so much fun!! The monkeys swing tree to tree and come down to grab a banana straight from your hands! They are very friendly and gentle. We got so many great photos from our great tour guide Josué, too! The walk in the jungle is so beautiful and filled with wildlife and greenery. They have a nice pool you can cool down in after and the lunch was delicious. El Salvador has so many diverse animals and here you are supporting a local natural reserve. We can’t wait to visit the monkeys again when we come back.

Feeding the monkeys - Feeding the spider monkeys is a once in a lifetime experience! The hike through the forest was definitely worth it. Our guides Francis and Pedro were wonderful! Monkeys: They knew everything about the land and pointed out every animal and wildlife we encountered. From crocodiles to every bird in sight! Francis played an audio of the birds mating calls so the birds would respond back! He also had binoculars for us to use. We weren’t able to find the monkeys in the beginning so after kayaking and having lunch we went back. Francis and Pedro made sure we didn’t leave without feeding the monkeys. We were surrounded by so many of them! We were face to face with multiple monkeys as we fed them platanos. We saw them interact with one another and heard them vocalize. It was a very memorable experience that everyone should have. Along with the monkeys we saw many birds, crocodiles, reptiles, and agoutis. They knew a lot about the monkeys and really cared for them. Francis talked to us about the people who lived there and it was wonderful to hear about the history of El Salvador. Kayaking: The bay we kayaked in was gorgeous, we even went through small canals. I would recommend taking a solo kayak rather than a canoe for two. It's more lightweight and easier to maneuver. It was fun and refreshing! Pedro was very helpful and guided us through the path. He wasn't afraid to get wet and dirty, if needed. We felt very safe throughout the tour. It was a great and peaceful experience. I would gladly do it again! Lunch: the lunch was delicious! We were able to relax in the hammocks and get into the pool for a while. Very nice! Side note: the ride there and back was very comfortable! Francis gave us a lot of info and was very personable. He also allowed us to rest and nap if we wanted. In the AM, we made a pit stop to get a quick breakfast and use the bathroom/buy water. Thank you for the great experience :)

Monkey business - Our trip to the monkey sanctuary was full of fun experiences and surprises, my partner and I enjoyed getting to interact with the monkey up close and feed them which made for great photos and memories. The kayaking experience was also very memorable, but challenging as we came into it inexperienced. However, the guide was very supportive and patient with us. Watch out for crocs! There are crocodiles located in the mangroves, but they are luckily scared of humans and avoid us just as we try to avoid them. The lunch options, though only four, was still very filling and the dessert was very delicious. Our tour guide was also very sociable and helpful throughout the experience.Overall, I recommend this experience to those wanting to spend a day out in nature with the beautiful creatures that El Salvador has to offer.

One of the best... - One of the best experiences I’ve had on my trip to El Salvador. Maria (the monkey) was fearless and definitely suprised me with the experience I was hoping for. My tour guide Josue was amazing.

Great Day trip - They were kind enough to pick us up at our hotel outside of San Salvador for an additional fee. The guide was kind and super communicative. They adapted the trip to account for the weather. The guide was knowledgeable. Definitely worth it!

Cutest monkeys and beautiful resort - This tour was probably #1 for me on my trip to El Salvador! Our guide Francis was so knowledgeable and so well versed in the history and culture of this country It C was so interesting to hear what he had to say! The monkeys were a sight to see and it was so fun feeding them. Definitely wear sneakers and socks cause there are ants on the nature walk to see the monkeys! But the highlight was the resort! It was so beautiful, they had hammocks and huts and awesome bar it was so peaceful! The Kayaking on the water was so tranquil and serene.
