Our journey continues south past Tevaitoa, wild inlets and cascades complement the green cliffs. We’ll take a break at the Nao Nao coral garden, a perfect spot for diving, and enjoy a picnic on the canoe.
Next, we’ll veer eastward to Fareaatai’s ‘sugar loaf’. Take the opportunity to relax on the trampoline above the lagoon, followed by a stop at the ‘bird motu’ for some excellent snorkeling.
We’ll tour the Taputapuatea Marae, a UNESCO World Heritage site, with options of sightseeing via sea tour or a brief half-hour hike along a marked trail.
Lastly, gaze at Faaroa Bay and explore it if time allows before we make our way back to Uturoa, where we’ll dock by 4:30 in the afternoon.
