Our journey continues south past Tevaitoa, wild inlets and cascades complement the green cliffs. We’ll take a break at the Nao Nao coral garden, a perfect spot for diving, and enjoy a picnic on the canoe.

Next, we’ll veer eastward to Fareaatai’s ‘sugar loaf’. Take the opportunity to relax on the trampoline above the lagoon, followed by a stop at the ‘bird motu’ for some excellent snorkeling.

We’ll tour the Taputapuatea Marae, a UNESCO World Heritage site, with options of sightseeing via sea tour or a brief half-hour hike along a marked trail.

Don’t think twice and book this one!!! - By far the best tour we did in Tahiti this will be the one we will not forget. We did the Windstar cruise to the Society Islands and booked this tour since we did not want to book a cruise tour wanted some more exclusive and unique and this fit the bill perfectly, it was only us and another couple so we felt like we had a private tour. The canopy was amazing we spent most of our time there and the feeling of the tour was very relaxed and exactly what we needed.

Perfect Full Tour of Raiatea - Terrific day on the water! Saw absolutely everything we wanted to see and Jimmy made us feel safe and comfortable throughout the day. We stopped to jump in and snorkel, sacred sites and a beautiful lunch with stunning views. Would not hesitate to book this tour again. Highly recommended.

Exceptional day! - Superb day around Tahaa in the company of Jimmy, a very friendly, attentive and attentive guide. The canoe is magnificent and comfortable. We enjoyed the coral garden, visited a pearl farm and a vanilla plantation. The meal was great on a motu with your feet in the water. A big thank you to Jimmy for this wonderful day!

Wonderful full-day trip - We had a wonderful day with Capt. Jimmy! First, Ben was great to communicate with in setting everything up and when there was some confusion about when our cruise ship would actually be in port in Raiatea. It wound up being our first day in French Polynesia and so it was nice to have a leisurely start. We had no problem finding Jimmy and because it was a private tour, he was able to give us a couple of options for the day. We went around the whole island following more of their Apetahi itinerary than the Vanilla one to Tahaa. It was always nice going past a crowded boat of passengers and having our entire boat, with multiple tables and booths, to ourselves as well as the nice trampoline on the outrigger where I spent a lot of time. We went a little way up a river for a bit of a jungle experience and got off to visit archaeological site Taputapuatea, which was interesting to my family who has spent many years on boats and in Hawai‘i. We also had a lovely lunch stop at a little resort with their own pier where we got to dine on the sand. I was so happy to have some poisson cru on our first day in French Polynesia. The weather held out for us until the very end of the day when we were caught in a downpour. Jimmy quickly rolled down the vinyl sides of the boat, which kept us protected even though it meant that he got drenched, and then he got us safely back to the pier. Jimmy was so kind and patient and willing to talk about sailing and boats with my folks. He seems like the kind of guy who actually meant it when he said we could call him up to borrow some boards and go surfing if we make it back to Raiatea sometime. I absolutely recommend a day with Raiatea Blue Lagoon.

SUBLIME DAY AROUND RAIATEA - Unforgettable experience, snorkeling, exceptional seabed, dolphins playing in front of the boat, well-chosen stops and visits, superb typical outrigger canoe, the kindness, experience and sympathy of Captain Fabrice who speaks several languages make it an idyllic day. To choose between the excursion around Raiatea and around Tahaa, impossible!! you have to do both, these 2 day excursions are completely different and complementary. My best memories of Polynesia!
