• FARE VANIRA TAHAA from the Public Establishment Vanille de Tahiti - “Fare Vanira” is among the last vanilla plantations in Tahaa that still cultivates vanilla using traditional methods. Unlike modern vanilla greenhouses, this age-old practice is becoming increasingly rare. Visitors can explore the plantations and their products through a guided tour led by the owners.

On-site, there is an opportunity to discover typical local products such as honey, vacuum-packed vanilla, vanilla flavoring, and artisanal monoi. These items are available for purchase, ensuring visitors can find something special.

• Domaine Pari Pari: Rum Distillery and Coconut & Tamanu Oil Mill - The “Pari Pari” distillery is a celebrated location on the island, known for its award-winning rums. Visitors can explore and taste the various rums crafted by this distillery.

The program includes a guided tour detailing the production of sugar cane juice and its transformation into rum, showcasing several flavors and tastes. Visitors can also purchase local products such as alcohol, various coconut-based items (flour, oil, soap, cream), tamanu, and even homemade textiles.

Additionally, a paid minibar is available for refreshments and to sample the house’s creations.

• Ia Orana Pearl Farm - Pearl farms in French Polynesia are a must-see attraction. The Orana Pearl Farm offers a chance to discover and learn about the pearl creation process using mother-of-pearl, explained in detail by the on-site hostess. Occasionally, demonstrations are available, especially during the week.

Ia Orana Pearl Farm also features a jewelry store where visitors can purchase exquisite gifts or souvenirs from Tahaa.
