• FARE VANIRA TAHAA de l’Établissement public Vanille de Tahiti - The “fare vanira” is one of the last vanilla plantations in Tahaa to cultivate vanilla in the traditional way. Unlike vanilla greenhouses, this method is less and less practiced today. You can discover their plantations and their products during a guided tour given by the owners of the place.

On site, you will have the opportunity to discover typical local products such as: honey, vacuum-packed vanilla, vanilla flavoring or even artisanal monoi. These products are intended for sale so you can find what you are looking for there.

This experience is very enriching for both enthusiasts and amateurs.

• Domaine Pari Pari : Distillerie de Rhum et Huilerie de coco et tamanu - The “Pari Pari” distillery is one of the island’s renowned places for its numerous alcohols (rum) which have won several medals. Indeed, you will be able to discover and taste the different rums concocted by this distillery.

On the program, a guided tour on the making of sugar cane juice and the entire process of transformation into rum. Several flavors and tastes are featured. There too, you will have the opportunity to purchase local products such as: alcohol, various coconut-based products (flour, oil, soap, cream) or “tamanu” or even homemade textiles…

Finally, a paid minibar is available to refresh yourself and try the different creations of the house.

• Ia orana pearl farm - Pearl farms in French Polynesia are a must-see and not to be missed. The Orana Pearl Farm is one that offers the opportunity to discover and learn the process of creating a pearl using mother-of-pearl. This will be detailed by the hostess on site. From time to time, demonstrations are possible, particularly during the week.

Ia orana pearl farm also has a jewelry store on site where you can purchase beautiful gifts or souvenirs of Tahaa.

• Jardin de Corail - Dive and discover the Tahaa coral garden where you will find fish (small and large), magnificent corals and all this, in clear, clear water.

This corner of paradise is located between two “motu” in Tahaa. To explore it, you’ll need two things: your camera and your mask and snorkel.

• Motu Tuahi Tahaa - The Motu Tuahi is the last stop which ends our beautiful morning. It is in this heavenly corner that we will spend the rest of our day and where we will enjoy a good “ma’a Tahiti” filled with local Polynesian specialties.

On site, you will have access to the turquoise blue lagoon, the meal prepared by the Tuahi team (Reiatua, Mareva and their families) and the beach. All this, in a joyful and local atmosphere.
