Super surf course with obvious success and lots of fun - Leandro was a great surf coach who taught us both surf beginners everything very calmly and accurately.
We have never surfed before and were able to surf/glide 30m meters at the end.
Leandro also brought delicious pineapple, water & sunscreen.
We would recommend Leandro to any surf beginner.

Excellent Surfing Instructor - We three family members from Canada (ages 61, 67, and 71) had a private 2-hour surfing lesson with Leandro. He was an excellent instructor. Friendly and knowledgeable, his instructions were clear and his teaching method exactly what we needed. We were all amazed that, with only a few tries, we were able to get up on the surfboard. By the end of the two hours, we were all able to surf all the way into the beach. Leandro provided snacks halfway through the lesson and again at the end.
We were all nervous at the beginning but were thrilled that we took the leap and got this experience. And we're planning on renting a surfboard in the near future and practicing what Leandro taught us. We highly recommend this to anyone interested in learning to surf.

This was a fantastic... - This was a fantastic beginner lesson for want-to-be surfers. The beach was gorgeous. The waves were just right for learning the basics. The instructor was very experienced and helpful - the kids had a blast. The pineapple was amazing and cold water was provided. Thank you David! Pura Vida 🇨🇷🏄♂️🌊

Unforgettable Surfing Experience with Leandro! - I had an incredible time at my surf lesson with Leandro! From the very beginning, he created a relaxed and motivating atmosphere. His patience and expertise helped me actually stand up on the board – an unforgettable feeling! Leandro explains the techniques clearly and gives valuable tips to continuously improve. You can tell right away that he is passionate about surfing and truly wants to share that excitement with his students.
I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor and highly recommend Leandro to anyone who wants to learn how to surf or improve their skills. Thank you for this unforgettable experience! I’ll definitely be back!

Surf lesson was so helpful - The surf lesson with Leandro was really good. I loved his "simulator". While on the sand, he went through how to get onto the board and stand up, with a simple 4 step process. Then he simulated being on a wave by picking up the tail of the board and moving it, giving some much needed balance practice.
Much to my surprise, I got up on the very first wave, and many more after that. A fun activity, that would set me up to rent a board independently later (but I sadly didn't have time)

The best surf lesson - A truly unique experience and actually the highlight of my trip to Costa Rica.
Leandro is not only very good at explaining things, you can also feel his passion and energy for the sport. His commitment and motivation can be felt in and out of the water. The lessons are well prepared, beginners learn a lot and quickly make great progress thanks to the helpful tips. Even if you start from zero, Leandro takes the time to explain everything to everyone, no matter how often. I felt safe, comfortable and in the best of hands at all times. Leandro's dynamic, funny and open mind makes everything much more entertaining.
Definitely a reason to stay longer in Uvita!

Amazing!!! - Amazing! So much fun! Leandro was a great and patient teacher. I was really nervous and was able to stand up pretty easy! You are in shallow water the whole lesson. So I could touch and felt super comfortable. He also taught us what to ask when we go to other areas to surf, super helpful. Would highly recommend!

10/10 surflesson, would book it again if I had more time. - Learned how to surf in no time. Great explanation about safety&technique and had a lot of fun and cool pictures. Definitely worth it, would recommend it to everybody.

Fabulous surfing - Fabulous surf lesson. Leo and Gregorio were patient and safety conscious and made sure that everyone in our family received individual attention. We all successfully rode waves in. It was great! Would certainly do it again.

Surf lessons done right. - Leandro was wonderful to work with. Very welcoming and inviting. Had a nice place for my wife to sit comfortably out of the sun while I had my 2 hour lesson.
He set me up with the information I needed to know before getting in the water.
After the first hour we took a break and he hooked me and my wife up with a fresh pineapple and huge coconut water.
It was a lot of fun. It was the best cardio workout I have had in awhile. Totally recommend it. When we come back I’ll get another lesson from him.
