On the beach, the surf instructor is going to explain safety, how to handle the surfboat and all relevant information regardless of catching waves. After that, the students are going to practice on the sand, while the instructor is supervising that they do the right technique. After practicing on the sand the students and instructor go to the water to surf. The instructor is always looking after the student and offering a review after every wave.
