A great tour for seeing the salt flats and more! - This tour is full of beautiful and diverse scenery and a great value for the cost. Our guide and driver Edo was so great, he was very knowledgeable about the area and very helpful to make sure we had the right amount of time at each stop, and he helped to take great funny photos at the salt flats. Our tour included all meals which were all homemade and tasty and gave a nice experience of local cuisine. The overnight lodging was rustic but sufficient and warm and interesting to stay the night out in such remote places. We were excited to lots of geological formations and wildlife. It was really nice to only have 6 travelers in our group, which made for efficient stops, though good that this company had ~4 cars along the same route in case any help was needed. This was our favorite outing in Bolivia, a great way to experience Bolivia’s amazing natural wonders.

Amazing experience!! - A truly amazing experience covering breathtaking landscapes in southern Bolivia. Our tour guide Raquel Gris and our drivers Jesus and Berny are amazing people who took great care of us and treated us like family from the get-go. Food and accomodation was great and, of course, the scenery picturesque. You will never not have great photos to take here. Throughout the 3 days, Raquel was amazing at taking great and creative pictures/videos for all of us. All-in-all, an amazing time with great people!!

Magical and unforgettable love story - Trip to Uyuni was by far the higlight of our trip to Bolivia. My now finacée and I went to the 3 days/ 2 nights trip organized by Andes Salt. After a hard travel to Uyuni from La paz (I recommend traveling by plane), we were both tired but ecstatic with the views and friendliness of the organizers. Little did my partner know that surprises were just beginning! The tour helped me organize to her a surprise proposal with one of the most gorgeous sights I've ever seen. They even gifted us some chocolates and wine, and the organized an afterparty for the celebration. Great respect and a big hug to all the people involved. Thanks for for allowing an already great tour to be forever engrained in our memories

Highly recommend! Best spent money on my trip so far! - This was the Highlight of my south America trip so far! Our Tourguide Raquel Gris and our drivers Berny and Jesus made us feel like we were a big family right from the start. We got great information really good food and lots of laughs along the way. The accommodation was great both nights. Pretty basic but very clean and definitely worth the stay. We ended our tour at the Chilean border (half the group went back to Uyuni), and got help with all the forms and transportation right up to the border. All I can say is it was a pleasure traveling with this company and especially Raquel, Berny and Jesus! Thank you for the wonderful time!

Super good driver/guide and very well organized tour - Very nice tour with our guide José that was not only an excellent driver, he also was extremely knowledgeable and told us so much about the area. He always tried to avoid the crowds so we had the places to ourselves and showed us spots nobody went to. Highly recommend Salt Andes!

Fantastic action packed tour - It was a action packed 3 days where our tour guide Jose took the time to explain everything in great detail, and he was fantastic with any questions we had. Jose even let us choose the spot for sunset on the salt flats even though it meant a longer drive back for him at night. I will be recommending this to my family and friends, thanks for making the experience fantastic Jose!

dishonest agency - we do not recommend this tour agency as the boss Braulio was not honest with us and very unprofessional. TLDR - he asked us to pay an additional USD100/pax for services that were complimentary to everyone in the tour and became very defensive when we asked about the discrepancy. essentially, their website states that the standard package is USD 150/pax for a spanish guide, dormitories and shared toilets while the medium package is USD 250/pax for an english guide, private room and private toilet. this information is not true! everyone in our group had the english guide and private room even though they bought the standard package. the only difference was the folks on the standard package did not have an ensuite toilet and had to pay BOB30/pax for their nightly shower. it was quite shocking the price discrepancy USD100 vs BOB30 (

Hungover, careless, late guide - We booked through the company on account of lots of good reviews and were beyond disappointed with our experience. I want to flag we raised this directly and privately with the company and were out right ignored. I hate complaining but don’t want someone else to book this tour and experience the same thing. First the good: The food exceeded our expectations The scenery is as incredible as everyone says it is The bad (you’ll see comes down to largely to the guide) - they were always late, not the end of the world except where one morning we were asked to be ready for 4.30am only for our guide to appear at 5.15am. Personally, that’s 45 mins I’d have loved in bed too. - our guide was routinely hungover, on one day we got back from exploring a designated stop to find him asleep in the car. So, we decided as a group to let him sleep for another 20 minutes before waking him in a bid to feel safer in the car - he didn’t speak English. We paid a premium for an English speaking guide and this was a service we just didn’t receive Finally, the tour lists oxygen as something they carry. This is not the case. A fellow traveller fell very sick with altitude sickness and was told there was no oxygen. She was offered little to no help, advice or reassurance. The lack of English of course not helping the situation. When we asked where the oxygen was we were told it was “for the dead”. Pretty strange banter when someone is ill. Maybe we got unlucky but I wanted to share this so others know to ask more thorough questions before booking of the level of English and which guide they have.
