Unforgettable 3 day tour - Our amazing tour guide/driver/chef Walberto took us on an unforgettable 3 day tour across salt flats, deserts, active volcanoes, geysers, hot springs and so much more. I felt very safe knowing Walverto had more than 15 years of experience in those conditions and he was also very knowledgeable, he knew the names of every single mountain, plant and animal we crossed paths with. I was positively surprised at the high standard of the accommodations we stayed at and the food we ate as well. Be prepared to be in the car for long hours since the area is so big but I didn’t mind since the nature and views were so spectacular. But if you get easily car sick maybe the 3 day tour is not for you.

Absolutely Unforgettable – A Must-Do Adventure! - This tour was absolutely unforgettable! From start to finish, we were blown away by the breathtaking scenery, well-organized itinerary, and fantastic guide. Huge shoutout to Eduardo – what a legend! He worked tirelessly to keep us informed, entertained, photographed and fed. His passion and humour made the trip even more special. Gluten-free? No worries! Eduardo took amazing care of me. Every meal was safe, plentiful and delicious – I never felt like an afterthought. The essentials: • Bathroom breaks? Enough • Accommodation? Basic but clean. • Roads? Bumpy, but that’s part of the adventure!

One of a kind experience - The 3-day tour was amazing. We went through the salt flats, past mountains and volcanos, past lagoons, through a desert, and got to see many llamas, picuñad, and flamingos along the way. Our guide Edo was amazing, he genuinely did his best to make sure we had a great experience, and he has an incredible knowledge of the land. Ask him anything! We are so happy we decided to take the tour. Would recommend to anyone spending time near the salt flats.

Great organized Tour & Guide - We had a fantastic experience with our guide, Eduardo, who was incredibly patient and even took us to a hidden spot to witness the stunning mirror effect on the salt flats. He went above and beyond to ensure everyone got the perfect picture, never rushing us and allowing plenty of time to enjoy the scenery. The tour was well-organized, and I can definitely recommend it.

An Unforgettable Experience with Eduardo and Elmer! - Our group of six had an incredible time on this tour, and we can’t thank our guide, Eduardo, and driver, Elmer, enough for making it such a memorable experience. The tour was exceptionally well-organized, and everything went off without a hitch. Eduardo’s deep knowledge and attentiveness truly enhanced the journey, making it both informative and enjoyable. A special thank you to the team for locating and returning my water bottle that I accidentally left behind at their office. Their helpfulness went above and beyond. The highlight of the trip was undoubtedly the salt flats — a breathtaking experience that I’ll never forget. Eduardo and Elmer also took fantastic photos for us, capturing the beauty of the landscape and our fun moments along the way. As for accommodations, our two-night stay was overall comfortable. However, the first night at the salt hostel was a bit of a challenge. The hostel is still undergoing some internal remodeling, and the salt-covered floors made it a little tricky to move around. Despite this minor inconvenience, it didn’t impact the overall experience. The tour ended in San Pedro de Atacama, where Eduardo made sure we were seamlessly transferred to the Chil bus without any issues. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to explore the stunning landscapes of the region. It was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and Eduardo and Elmer made it all the more special.

What a trip! - The vast deserts of Bolivias Altiplano are spectacular and you feel like being on different planet. From the famous Salar de Uyuni to the Laguna Colorada and all the smaller Lagunas: one highlight after another. Andes Salt Expeditions is the perfect company to do it with. All accommodations had private rooms which is not often the case. Of course there is a language barrier with our driver speaking only Spanish and the tour guide being in the other car but it works out. The 3 days will contain a lot of driving, one being covered in dust and being at very high altitudes (highest point of the trip: 4930m) but that is all worth it. You will remember the views for the rest of your life! Ps: Definitely try the Llama sausage at Mirador Volcan Ollagüe, it was so delicious!

Excellent tour with incredible scenery! Comfortable and very well planned. - This tour was amazing! It surpassed our expectations in every way. Our guide Juan and driver Franklin were excellent - always informative, kind, and helpful. The scenery is truly incredible throughout the trip. The hostels were clean and had hot water showers. The food was good and filling, even for vegetarians. Every detail felt well planned and the timing of each thing was great. We loved every bit and would highly recommend this tour company! They went above and beyond to make it a great trip.

Awesome - Andes Salt Expeditions is a fantastic company, look no more and book through them. The trip was super well organized, all meals included and private accommodation with your own bathroom. This company uses hotels that accommodate only guests from them, so you won't be seeing any other tourists in your hotels. First night you stay in a hotel made completely out of salt. Our guide was Paimar and was very knowledgeable, professional, funny, great English and this man takes amazing photos!

Great trip but the food sucked on the last day - I absolutely loved our guide Edwardo. He was incredibly knowledgeable and kept us on a tight schedule so that we got to experience all of the sites. I’d definitely recommend this trip to friends. The only snag with the experience was lunch on the last day. We received some vegetables which were nice but the main course of potatoes and beef were prison level food. The potatoes were dried and rehydrated and the “beef” was something along the lines of spam but with no flavor. What made matters worse was the table next to us (from a different travel agency) got to eat whole potatoes and fried eggs while we watched, haha!
